Udoh as surname is mainly from Akwa Ibom and Cross River tribes, Udo which mean peace in Igbo is beard by Igbos as mainly first name and some few cases surname,although few Igbos that bear Udo as surname put the letter H at the end.In Germany I am surprise that many Germans bears Udo as surname and ask them what is the meaning of Udo that they bear,most of them said that it an old name from Jewish Germans,that they have alot of Jews in Germany before but many of them left after the war,then the remaining Jews still bear the name.
