there are some instances when being rusty might b an excuse like proper ball control,technique on d ball but tactical awareness and awareness is something you have or not...that guy forgets that he's a midfielder,before he receives a pass,he doesn't look around to see whether an opponent is close to him or not...I guess I've always seen this crack in his game,but today made it so glaring that when he's pressed he can't do shhiit...no wonder Wenger never went for him...

He's definitely not press resistant but as a pure DM, he's quite decent-good. Obviously, He had a bad game today and it doesn't help that he's only had little match fitness before the match.

As for Dembele, he's a good player but I don't just rate him as a top midfielder. Quite flashy with little substance to his game. The only midfielder worth mentioning in that Spurs' team is Eriksen.
