I am so sad right now .
My father died a long time ago and it has been a living hell coping without his fatherly assistance (both financially and physically).
I struggled to see myself through school and I'm a graduate by his grace but currently unemployed.
My father died of sickness and although the ailment was strange as his body rejected all medications, we never had cause to suspect.
Fast forward to yesterday when I and my mom went to visit one of my father's brothers for a little cash to help myself, he flared up and started saying uncouth things.
He told my mom that my dad can't do anything to him as he was dead and that my father could have died long before getting married.
He is an army man, although my father's step brother. He says things without emotions and he is the most wicked being on earth.
I've been crying since yesterday. it hurts that my Papa did not die a natural death. Or I'm I overreacting

To the matter. Your uncle didn't say he had a hand in your dad's death, going by the statement you credited to him. We can only deduce that he survived a life threatening illness or accident, etc, long before he got married.

The best you can do for yourself, now that you are a graduate is to take responsiblity for yourself and your mom. Forget about your uncle, job or no job. You can achieve a whole lot and create a very beautiful life for youself if you focus on you, take responsibility and work real hard, while making sure you have God on your side. Good luck

I do not want to be the devil's advocate, but in my opinion and understanding, What u wrote about what your uncle said could be some misunderstanding..

He might have been referring to Career wise, because people have this notion that millitary personnel tends to die young because of the risk involved in their career..

Though he should not have said things like that about his brother..but u have to stop trying desperately as if u are looking for someone to blame.. also people tends to twist other people's comment in a heated argument.especially in a country that finds it easier to accuse someone for the cause of date instead of autopsy report

You are a graduate now, u got lots of potential..U are on your way to success.. in order to move on, u have to let go of some excess luggage.. so that u can travel freely in this journey called life.

My brother u need maturity in ur life... Maturity to know that thinking or trying to know if ur uncle killed ur dad, shuld nt be ur priority now... Even if you find out that someone killed ur dad...
