One of the reasons why post utme was scrapped was, in their words, " in line with international best practices which does not include dualisation of entrance exams." This greed and exploitation motivated policy is not hidden from more discerning eyes. The truth is, this policy is the last nail on the coffin of Nigeria's education sector. Watch the quality of students the vast majority of Universities, especially in the North, would churn out. And with quota system, they will be employed first before the likes of UI's graduates.

olasesi:
The Nigeria standard of education is still high, but there are now duller students.

See the gradation of the UTME questions over time, that's the high quality. But see the number of students below 200 over the time in percentage, that's the "dull" part.

We can't blame the high standard because there are more facebook and instagram freaks.

The questions are still harder, and that's the quality.

This is so sad
The JAMB Registrar is a renowned fundamentalist, he's only doing the bidding of his Arewa masters since majority of their children are educationally disadvantaged. When the choice of a president goes wrong, choices in various government offices will inadvertently go wrong. We'll live with the consequences of our choice until we call back our brain.

I know a boy who scored 199/400 in 1989, he just waited to write Jamb the next year.
That year, 1990, he scored 166/300 because Jamb cancelled English due to leakage, he still not enter any science course. Until 1991, when he scored 223/400 before he admitted to read his 2nd choice course having missed his first choice by 8marks.
Nowadays, scoring 200/400 is like "scholar".

JAMB is now irrelevant. Schools will now just need to look at your WAEC result and the post-UTME result and decide.

Please explain to me how you can fail all four subjects and still be said to pass...
