But this time, it will also affect you because they will surely bring the war to your door step. Bigot!

Bring what? The last time your cowardly fathers tried it, 390 Yoruba soldiers led by Col. Iluyomade wiped out more than 5000 Biafran soldiers.

The army would be killing your daddies in your potopoto Republic and we'll still be throwing parties in our states. You love war, we love peace.

Why comments like this one is not deleted and the account barred is what I don't understand Nairaland has turned to a fertile ground for ethnic hatred and most times, very irresponsible comments.
Imagine a 'normal' human being saying his 'fellow countrymen' are about to be harvested??

Seun/Mods should be proactive with these things......these days I am very ashamed opening Nairaland in public as I now see it as a place for petty idle people, and ethnic bigots!

Your tribesmen have wished us evil on this very forum over the years and we turned a blind eye to it. Now that we're giving you hot just as you deserve, you're crying like a barren bushbaby.

Your generational cowards who are rejected everywhere you go. The Jews denied you, Asians killed you, Hausas gave you ultimatum, SS distanced themselves from you, Benue is running away from you lot.

I went through your comments and discovered that your a bigoted nonentity. Your problem with my post is that it chronicled the folly of your ancestors and the ways you're repeating them.

We've just started with you flatheaded bigots here. You'll get it hot just as you've given us all these years v

Some forces have tried to create anarchy in the south west eg Millitants killing in Arepo, it's environs and Baddo cult killings in Ikorodu but the Yoruba society always rises against such situations.

The South Eastern society and it's leaders keep quiet and sometimes secretly encourage it. It's now about to blow up in their faces.

Same thing with the Northern society tolerating Boko Haram till it grew into a monster they could no longer handle.

I have faith in the south west because we have our short comings but we try to speak up against it on time.

The east was never conquered ha ha ha...

1. I know your poorly educated because you believe the only mission of the Church in the east was to spread the word of God .. as it were.
2. Would you extinguish your scarce resources on a cornucopia of hamlets in the east with limited commercial potential or rather on the trade routes, political machinery and valuable artifacts of Edo land, or the Unmatched political organization and communication network of the north or perhaps the beautiful mermaids of Akwa Cross.

No my unlearned fellow in the times past the fewer wars and enemies you had the more insignificant you truly were. They spent less effort on your territory because they had very little to gain. Think about it
Only uninformed and backward people bitten by extreme inferiority complex equate Republican government with unorganization and weakness.
You seriously need a crash course on Igbo culture and political structure, may be you would stop spewing silly and unintelligible statements.
It's downright embarrassing!
What's all this trash about the North, Edo and Akwa/Cross Mermaids?
Read up European expedition in Igboland including huge commercial transactions in Coal, Palm oil and Ivory in Igboland which ironically has the biggest Market in West Africa.
If you need trade routes then Read up Aro Igbo trade routes that penetrate Central Africa.
Read! Read! You are not only poorly educated, you are obviously suffering from a complex common amongst brainwashed Africans.

They've got nothing to fear for. Eastern regions' citizens are not savages like their kinsmen up north. Were Biafra to be in existent today, the Awusa man would be welcomed to be a citizen after a good background check. This is in most part because the average Igboman is forward thinking and has no fear for domination by any one.

The Chairman of Traditional Rulers’ Council, Umuahia North Local Government Area, HRM Eze Philip Ajomuiwe

All this Kings with no bloodline in the east. So weak and docile. And they said easterners are republicans.

These guys are the least organized ethnic group in Nigeria. Their ancestral failure to consolidate power is the sole cause of their political insignificance.

I always wondered why the east is so fragmented. And it occurred to me. If they could not have at anytime one ruling house that cut across atleast 1/3 of Ibo land. They never could organize themselves.

Edo conquered far and wide, Nupe far and wide, Yoruba far and wide, Fulani far and wide, Hausa far and wide (even had a warrior princess)
Ijaw, Itshekiri, Calabar. All well organized.

The east has always been a weak but rebellious political group. They can only unite for death and destruction of themselves by themselves.

Remember Bokoharam in the north east. IPOB thinks, the anarchy will go pass the niger bridge. We have six geopolitical zones for times like these, to compartmentalize insurgency, madness and mass delirium
The priority of Leadership is not to conquer and dominate people.
It's beyond frustrating to know that educated Africans consider domination as a key merit of Monarchy government.
Can you state what the aforementioned groups achieved asides conquering and war mongering?
Or are you merely conforming to Eurocentric views that uphold Monarchy as the best form of Leadership? Whitewashed bigot!
Ironically, the Igbos were never conquered by neighbouring tribes. What has your socalled strong and powerful leaders been able to achieve for your tribe apart from giving ultimatum to hardworking citizens of Igbo extraction.
You seem to have your definition of power and organization upside down and twisted!
I'm seriously trying to make a sense of your rants and belligerent venting.
Republic groups unorganized?
Igbos only uniting for death and destruction? Where has this occured in the history of Nigeria? The war they had to fight after enduring series of pogorm and mass genocide? Where were your Powerful Kings when innocent igbos residents had to pay for the sins of hot headed military coupist?
Spits out*

If you want to talk about People that unite for progressive and forward thinking ideas, then they are the Igbos.
Biafra is a legitimate cause. Don't wallow in hatred because they demand for the right of Self-determination.
It is only in Africa that people treat peaceful secessionist and seperatist groups as insurgency.
The only insurgents in the whole of Nigeria are Boko haram and Fulani herdsmen.

These yoruba bandits needed one naijeria to save them from themselves. They had very little ethnic organization with different yoruba crappy kingdom slaughetring another crappy kingdom with the attendant genocides.
The brits were astonished at such savagery .
If Nigeria splits today, they will decend right back into full scale anarchy that their yoruba fore-fathers left off.

You lot will never change trajectory always returning to your broken record of how everybody needs "Nigeria" but yourself.

You need to keep reminding yourself and your group .. about what will happen "if Nigeria splits". Yet you cannot take a piss without asking the SS to hold your co.cks.

If the SE was so efficient and organized, at least one S.E state would be amongst the top IGR states. Yet, you take more from the center than you give to it. You are parasites like every other region in this country.. eating through the crude oil proceeds from environmentally degraded lands in the SS, devouring the world bank, african dev bank, and IMF loans we collect and masticating the little reputation we have left in foreign lands.

The S.E is no better than any region in Nigeria. But, you have made it your life's work to prove otherwise. A futile effort.

And IPOB has made it more glaring that the south-east indeed is seeing pink elephants.

did we drag yorubas or yorubas dragged themselves into ipob matter in a very biased way just to please the north, spewing all kinds of propaganda, telling us very beautiful stories why we shouldn't go, and immediately u box them into a corner with superior argument they will retort to this their popular language of "who is holding u back not to go" while in their heart of hearts both spiritually and physically they are ready to commit their sons and daughters to the battle front as they did before to go and die. and yet they will still tell u that they don't care if u go but ready to kill their sons and daughter. hypocrites.
igbos are not happy with the yorubas because, if the north is fighting the west, igbos will rather be neutral than to fight against them thereby allowing yorubas achieve whatever they want to achieve
but if the north is fighting the igbos, yorubas will never be neutral , they will join hands against the igbos as they did in 1967, and are also doing right now by most of them on this platform , to make sure they scuttle whatever aims the igbos have no matter how good that project is. that is where the mistrust stems from. yorubas suddenly became illiterates by interpreting referendum to mean war just to hurt the igbos whom they said contribute nothing to the nation. please give us punishment by allowing us go. you people are the aggressors

Guy, Biafra was never a legitimate cause. Today, your anthem is referendum.

Did Gen. Ojukwu carry out any sort of referendum. Whether formal or informal.

Did he seek the consent of the minorities, of whose territories and ancestral lands he cordoned?

Do you know a legitimate cause if it stares you in the face? IPOB is completely without a doubt a band playing the songs of death.

A group that is incapable of fielding one intellectual of international repute. Your group claims to be interested in the people welfare, why not form a political party and run for governor, senator, house of rep, councillor, LGA chairman.

Take a look at Lagos, everyone is looking up to that state. It has grown because of organization and vision. Lagos at a time did not receive funds from the center .. yet it is the 7th largest economy in Africa last time I checked and it is still growing.

Look inwards for your problem.. like I said, you need to stop telling yourselves that you are this or that.. ask yourself how can we improve.

Look at Kebbi a ghost state in the north. By this time next year it will be the largest producer of rice. But your still in the SE shouting for Biafra.

What happens to Innoson? I don't quite get that question. Of course, they the whole of West Africa and Africa for distribution of their products. Or do you think seperation from Nigeria will endanger their markets. Lol.
This is not 1967 and Ojukwu's era, regardless of what he did not do,the Biafran agitation is legal.
Government laws have changed since then, constitution has been reviewed and people are more aware of what their rights are.
There is no clause binding Nigeria together forever. If any constitutent part of Nigeria no longer experience the necessary ingredient of Nationhood, then she ask for self determination.
No one has the right to force an identity on others especially in a largely backward and choatic Nation full of inequality across the board.
Oh, yes! Referendum is a democratic method of achieving a new state.
Honestly, there is no preaching about forming a Party and whatnot. That advice is dead on arrival.
These people have made up their mind to go. The inability of the Fed govt to handle this issue diplomatically and calmly is the resultant effect of this impending chaos. Offer Referendum? No.
Increase more Federal presence in the East? No.
Restructure Nigeria which is the best decision ever? No.
Rather they want to crush by force and intimidation.
The agitation for self determination is legally, the lack of intelligent Fed admins is the loophole here.

Another retarded comment from a poor educated man. Your assumption is that Igbo men are the only business men in Lagos.

If this is true, that Igbo men are the majority of business men in Lagos. The second question would be, are Igbo men or their companies the top 20% financial earnings in the Lagos economy?

You see, an elementary understanding of statistics will teach you about percentiles. You can see a simple example in Nigeria's earnings.

Crude oils export is only below 10% and yet it yields the bulk of the returns.

Nigerians .. we are leaving on the contributions of Igbo men oohh...

And these men can't build roads, schools, hospitals and arm twist the government to the east advantage.
