this story is so predictable, I was expecting bella not to be mr nicholas child nd it happened.I knew Edward was going to be mr nicholas child. nollywood story.not bad but expected a better twist.

one things I notice on nairaland stories ... never completed ...or direct u to another site where u pay claiming imposters.... and in that site u can still copy n paste. have been following a story since last year till date not completed
most time I feel the story isn't theirs... they end where de writer ends and claim one excuses

Hello everyone, sorry for every disappointment...i dont deserve ur forgiveness bt i definitely know i owe you apology, my explanations of why, or what happened that i disappeared from the thread are too long and irrelevant for now. Am sincerely sorry for everything.
Nothwithsanding, I made a promise to myself and everyone reading this story that i will get to the end of it no matter what. That promise is not broken yet, though many have given up already which i perfectly understand, many have also forgotten the story line and some characters but i will do this for myself and the few that hung and hoped for my return....thank u....

Gerald wrapped himself together with his two hands covering the affected arm with his palms. He lay beside the wall of the building where he had hidden after escaping dead in the hands of Mrs Nicolas.
He had already concluded what to do and there was no stopping him in his decision. Throughout that night sleep deserted him and he continually move from one side of the building to the other, morning seem like ten years to him as he was so anxious to let the cat loose.
Finally,it was dawn. The cold breese of the morning creeped into his bones and he didn't needed anyone to remind him that it was time for business. He jumped up with his right hand supporting the left one, and scrubbed off remains of dry blood from his wound.

"I have always loved you Stella, I did crazy things for you and stained my hands with innocent blood for you. All I ever wanted was your love but you spat on my face and chose Nicolas over me, I conceal your evil deeds and make sure nobody knows about your dirty dealings and now you can't save my son from prison!! This is time i get over this love and do something right even if it will be the only good thing i will do, let me die a happy man" Gerald said to himself staring at the wall as if it was listening to him.


Meanwhile, Mrs Nicolas' night was another nightmare as usual, perhaps the worst since she saw Gerald. Her face was swollen and her eyes red like pepper was poured in them. When she woke up and saw herself in the mirror, she was ashame of herself and couldnt see herself a second time.
But that was the least of her concerns, her main worry was Gerald. She cursed the first day she met with him, she was filled with hatred for him so much that if he was broght before her, she could eat him up for breakfast and need more.
She managed to get up from the bed and tour around the house looking around like it was her first time in the mansion. Her face was filled with a river of tears that gradually became an ocean when she came across the family picture on the wall.
She clean the tears running down when the maid came into the room with her breakfast. She pretended further when her husband came down from the bathroom.

Few minutes later, Mr Nicolas was ready for work so he rushed downstairs to give his wife a goobye kiss.

"Honey, i will be on my way to the office but you know i cant get there if i did not kiss my wife" He said in to cheer his moody wife up.
"Thank you, sweetheart" she replied.
They kissed and Mr Nicolas left.

Mrs Nicolas was surprised that Gerald had not said anything. She began to hope and pray that whatever it was that was delaying him should delay him forever.
"Perhaps he didn't make it alive !" she thought hoping she was right.

She was in the middle of her thoughts when she heard the hong of her husbands car at the gate.

"Darling, aren't you going to work again ?" Mrs Nicolas asked immediately her husband entered the room.

Her husband was surprised by her countenance, she was moody when he left but now she was scared and acting like she had thief.
" Honey am not going to work again. I have an emergency to attain to" He replied her.

"An emergrncy! What emergency could that be ?" She asked nervously.

" Its nothing to worry yourself about but if you must know. An anonymous caller just called and said he had information regarding my family"Nicolas said removing his suit.

Immediately she heard that she nodded her head and from that point she became a walking dead.Her world was falling before her eyes and there was just no way to save it.
Mr Nicolas changed his clothes and went off.
