The Sabbath is made for man and man for The Sabbath.

Sabbath is anyday that is not a work day
American 1st day of the week is Monday
while British 1st day of the week is Sunday.
God created earth in 6days and rest on the 7th day..
so it can be anyday apart from the work days
Sabbath can be Saturday Or Sunday..

With all due respect, is this a research paper or you sincerely want to know?
Some people just want to debate (which I won't do)..so please forgive me if you are being sincere.

Straight answer: Saturday is the Biblical Sabbath--always has been and always will be....throughout eternity.

Worshiping God is not just about a day....BUT it is an extremely important part of obedience to God.

Let me give you this book...which will explain the "alleged" transference of solemnity from Saturday to Sunday (or the alleged "change".
No church can change what has been ordained by God....since the beginning.
I have brought this book to the forefront several months ago when I first joined NL.

It is called, The Great Controversy by Ellen G. White
It is an incredibly inspired book which has about 42 chapters (please don't get turned off by that).

All of the chapters are very good...however if you are able, focus on the following chapters and you will get your answer:

Chapter 35 "Liberty of Conscience Threatened" page 563
Chapter 36 "The Impending Conflict" page 582
Chapter 37 "The Scriptures A Safeguard" page 593

The Bible ALWAYS is the book that can give you complete answers.....this book just further explains what has happened to God's Sabbath day.

There is no confusion about Sabbath in the Bible. The problem is that confused people make it look confusing. The Bible is basically about Law and Grace. Some preachers preach the Law some Grace and some do not know the difference.

Sabbath is basically for Israelites. The observation is also solely for them in all content, intent, and purpose. The observation took days, weeks, years each in its cycle. And majorly with land of Israel.


Under the Grace, if you came in through Jesus, He has become the Sabbath for all believers.
