We(I and my siblings) were so shocked that we refused taking her corpse to the mortuary until at least 16hours after she'd died.

We sat by her praying she'd come back.
We'd lost our dad few years earlier and we were very young.

It's been so many years now but I can still remember everything that happened that day.That Wednesday.

I don't want to sound insensitive but I feel you should credit the doctors who operated on you to save you in the nick of time rather than praise and worship. If they didn't, no praise and worship would have saved you.

First of all I want to thank God for his grace nd mercy..mine happened 2011 may...I was going home..i had an accident...d car tyre was flat,nd d driver was on speed..d car turn upside down...I saw d windscreen break right in front of me...all I could say was blood of Jesus....i Tnk God no life was lost....just injury..but I couldn't sleep...anytime I close my eyes all I see is d incident how it happened for weeks nd month I was traumatized...uptill now I get scared when I travel,any potholes we pass....my heart will just b Beating fast..also my next most traumatized experience was when my sister got missing 2012 sept....don't wanna go deep into it..will stop here....God help us all*amen*

Scariest for me would be when I was in secondary school...JSS 2 or so...wanted to cross the Iwo road-Ojoo axis. I and two other girls playfully holding hands...we were not going or relating but we wanted to cross at the same time. I could still recall how I took the step and a voice just told me to go back...the two girls crossing went for the run across the road one was hit by a truck and her brain spilled out in an instant, right in front of me!

I could have been dead too!


My praise and gratitude to Jesus who has always been there, watching and keeping me away from seen and unseen dangers.

May his saving hands keep us all through the remainder of this year. Amen.

Well.. Nysc coordinator came to pick him up from the police station; where he was imprisoned, just after he bit one of the police officers (the guy wan almost bite the police man for blokos, na im the police man use slap redirect im face go table) whilst they were squaring up.

On getting to the nysc coordinators office, he escaped and was heading back to our location; to probably finish what he started (come see as men dey arrange cutlass, bottles, and clubs down, just.as the news filtered in that we should be on the look out for him), when he was caught at the cab park, escorted back to the coordinator's office and then sent home to his parents.

I still have to thank God for all He's done for me,
my first experience was when I was in primary 2 or 3,I schooled in Delta state and I remembered it was a Friday, so no extra lessons,the rang the bell so everyone was about leaving,my elder sister was a teacher in same school so she wanted us to leave togetherwe walked to the school junction then all of a sudden we heard gunshots, yes everyone had to run back to.the school,windows locked and we kept praying, gunshots lasted for over 30 minutes hitting the windows of my classroom, but as God will have it,one of our church pastors drove in to the school yard and my elder sis said I should join him so that I could get home unhurt, that was how we drove to spot where the crisis was hot, the hoodlums charged our pastor to know why he was plying that route knowing fully well it was not safe,they pointed gun at us and we we're praying, me I didn't know what I was doing though, but God let us out alive and I'm happy for the gift of life


my 2nd experience was sometimes last year when I was learning how to ride a bike(motorcycle) ,my friend who own the bike was seated on my back ,so we headed out,I started slow ,but it was fun and started adding more fire ,we got to a curve on the road on same speed,on getting to the curve that was when we realized that a car was parked by the right and boom,my spirit left me,I was so scared,but my friend maintained that I should keep my hands straight, he even helped holding my hands from behind, and that was how we escaped that accident

I have read every single comment on this thread. Read how people miss their moms and dads, well my both parents are alive but my mom has been sick for the past two years. She has this pain in her right leg, we thought it was rheumatism but it wasn't, she was told to shed weight which she did. Stop eating this and that, stop doing that and those, be exercising all of which she has been strictly adhering to until it seems the story is the same. Three weeks ago i wanted to leave home as well as my younger brother too, she came into our room with tears in hear eyes and told me to give up the idea of running a business cos it is risky as my father is a failed businessman and she has borne the weight of breadwinning. She said the sickness with her was not getting any better and if she dies she wants my younger to finish schooling and not suffer as well as myself not to beg people to survive. At this point i couldn't hold my tears cos i have never thought of not having a mother and all she has been doing suddenly flashed before me. She was crying and talking and i wished i could command the sickness out of her but i couldn't rather i broke down in tears, first time in over ten years i would cry and it became a weeping frenzy as my younger brother joined in.

I still spoke with her yesterday, i dont want her dead, i have fasted and i pray for her i just want her hale and hearty again. She has been a strong woman. Thinking of loosing her creeps me out and gives me goosebumps. They are scariest moments.

Does she walk with a limp on that leg?

she was bleeding and her husband was only on boxers and singlet.... the nurses requested for 4k before they could attend to her, husband came to the hospital penniless......

Has anyone considered a Deep Vein Thrombosis?

Also someone can't be formerly hypertensive and not hypertensive anymore. Pls let her go to a teaching hospital and check her blood pressure and also get checked out for DVT.
