The British Expedition to Ethiopia (Abyssinia) and the Battle of Magdala

It was a rescue mission and punitive expedition carried out between 1867-68 AD by the armed forces of the British Empire against one of the most colourful and extraordinary rulers in African history, emperor Tewodros II of Ethiopia.

It was one of the most bizarre and expensive campaigns of the Victorian age.
Harold G. Marcus described the action as "one of the most expensive affairs of honour in history."

The British force of 13,000 soldiers and 26,000 camp followers was commanded by General Sir Robert Napier, while the Ethiopian force of 9000 men was commanded by Emperor Tewodros II battled at Magdala (a fortress in of the most rugged mountains in the world). The British force suffered 22 casualties (20 wounded and 2 dead) and the Ethiopian force suffered 1900 casualties (1200 wounded and 700 dead).

The campaign ended with British success in their main objective of releasing the hostages. Emperor Tewodros II killed himself with a pistol that had originally been a gift from Queen Victoria. The British burned the fortress Magdala, including its churches, as a punitive measure. They also looted infinite invaluable variety of gold, and silver and brass crosses" along with many Christian books and texts, filigree works and rare tabots. The looting was huge amounts that it needed 15 elephants and almost 200 mules to bear the loots.

I'm non believer. Those religions you mentioned are cults could be or couldn't be, but I believe that most of the religions are man made systems for their respective fantasy God/gods.

You got me in this. But there has been research been done on matter, but not on God because the description of God by believers isn't physical.
