Whats wrong with people and learning how to code "the fast way" You CANNOT learn programming in 6 days!!! Its practically impossible. Even if you were a savant, you would have to implement what you have learnt and there is a huge mountain of logic that you would have to conquer.

If You Are Committed U Can. I Learnt And Wrote A Fully Functional Qbasic App In 4 Days, Before Which I Had No Knowledge. So Don't Think Because You Can't Means Someone Else Can't. And FYI You Haven't Spoilt Anything. You Are Forgiven For Your Ignorance.

OP the guy is right. You were able to learn and implement QBasic in 4 days because you have fundamental knowledge of how to program.
For an newbie, it will take more than 6 day to know how the fundamentals, then learn and implement php (following industrial standard). Except you want to teach them simple CRUD, I don't see how that's possible.

I Taught An Economics Student With No Prior Knowledge In PHP In 6 Days. And I Am Not Talking About The Additional Crash Course I Gave Him In Hosting. He Picked Because He Was Committed. I Really Am Tired Of Nigerian Mentality. Sure, You May Not Be Like Zuckerberg When U Start, But You'll Be Good To Go.

I have been trying to learn php for 5 days now using w3school and YouTube video tutorials, I was unable to move pass comment.

try downloading youtube videos involving project-work on php and mysql it enables you to practice everything you've learnt from w3school and other youtube videos you've watched.

But chances are that the person would not be able to build anything "meaningful" with just 6 days knowledge of programming.

I was unable to implement everything I learnt on php. As in, I really don't know how to use it.

For me, I'd suggest you try building a login and registration application. It helps you understand your language of choice and how to deal with databases. I believe every other thing is basically logic.

There are a lot of free pdf's on the internet. I'd recommend O'reilly pdfs on PHP and MySQL.
