My Huawei Ascend G6 3G I got from Italy is telling me that "internal storage damaged, restart or factory reset to fix". But I've tried everything, all to no avail. some engineer told me he's not sure but I'm able to get someone to change the internal chip, it might work. I'm just trying to get someone to help with a second opinion and further assurance from the phone engineers and gurus on here. the phone hasn't been used more than a few months. thanks in advance.

Go to an engineer and tell em to flash a new rom for ya, it'll work

something is wrong with the EBR files in your phone... Either they are corrupt or u tweaked them or a virus has eaten it up... They are the system files that determine partions on storage....i once mess with Dat file in one of my previous fones.. Cos I love tweaking my phone ..i tweaked the file and converted my 1gb internal storage to 11gb,crazy right?... But the problem became obvious wen even a 1kb file size wud corrupt my internal storage...i eventually flashed the phone and it worked back but I lost all my tweaks.. Lol.. The point is a full rom flash is gonna do the work and not a factory reset.. And don't mind that crazy phone guru...he is high on cheap drugs..

i guess its technical fault, and its not software issue that you are trying to fix via reset factory etc. look for experienced person to repair it or better claim on warranty if you have.

because this type of issue can be claimed i guess

if your device is new and has warranty, then better to claim it

I took it to like 2 engineers for Com village already. em dudes couldn't flash it. I think the problem is hardware.

Thanks bro. Tweaked nothing actually, it's a new phone. was just confused when I switched it one day and it booted fully but nothing is showing on the screen except "Internal storage damaged". Should try and get an Engineer that'll be able to do a full ROM flash. well, I tried to do myself tho, couldn't get the Drivers. Even when I did get one, my phone isn't recognized by the PC. thanks tho. Means a lot
