What If Eve Was The Only One That Ate The Forbidden Fruit? by cutebobo(m): 7:46am On Oct 29, 2017
Have you ever wonder if it was only Eve that ate the forbidden fruit, would God have created another female, kill Eve, create another world of suffering for only Eve or what would have happened?
Re: What If Eve Was The Only One That Ate The Forbidden Fruit? by Celcius: 7:54am On Oct 29, 2017
If that were to be the case it would have been worse.
Even as it is now, its just as if na their senses are somewhat sharper...and man dey suffer, let alone the fruit had been eaten by Eve only.

I dont think we will be in the mess that we are in today because the devil knew she was weak & could be easily decieved that was why he went to her first. So if eve had eaten the fruit alone, i dont think God would have punished her alone considering the fact that she is weak, instead its possible He would have made her stonger to resist temptation.
If i can recall very well, God didnt question eve after they ate the fruit coz i believe He understood her plight. It was adam He questioned coz he was meant to be the one to scold eve for eating the fruit, and him trying to push the blame on eve really angered God.

I won't break your head for referring to Eve as weak. I think your head is already quite broken enough if you believe in the abject stupidity that is the Garden of Eden myth.

Eve, if she existed in the blatantly nonsensical creation myth, was intelligent, and the devil a hero of liberty. God had literally no reason to forbid them from eating an apple other than "I said so". Is that supposed to fly with intelligent human beings? Naturally people would want to understand the reason why they are not allowed to eat the apple. Is it simply because god did not want them to? Then that is nothing short of tyranny. This is just one of many biblical events where god acts like a conceited, cruel, psychotic, murderous monster and the reader is just supposed to accept it and go "well it's his will", without ever stopping to question him.

There is also the issue of god's supposed omniscience. If god was truly omniscient, then he would've understood how fate would've played out to begin with. He would've known that Eve was going to bite the apple before she had even existed. Why would such a god punish her for it, then? Sounds to me like this "god" is a cruel, malicious child who plays games with the lives of his creations.

Imagine if the story of Eden was applied to real people, with god being some autocratic strongman dictator in the style of anywhere between Idi Amin to Nicolai Ceausescu. "God" (the dictator) is the supreme being and ruler of the garden, and NOBODY may question their motives or position, and they maintain said position purely through displays of power and cruelty. "The devil" or "The snake" is a propagandistic construction of any voice of dissent, any voice of reason that questions the arbitrariness of this "god's" regime. You see this in Islamist suicide bombers, who believe that anyone who criticises their psycho religion is "the devil" talking to them or "confusing" them. It's a nightmare model of social control.

How does Adam or Eve the oyinbo people eating or not eating a forbidden fruit affect you Op? As long as Oduduwa, Ofo and our own deities didn't join them to eat the fruit, how is that our own business? As a matter of fact, the forbidden fruit didn't affect us in any way. It's just a mere story extracted from a particular event in the period of the hominids.
Re: What If Eve Was The Only One That Ate The Forbidden Fruit? by An2elect2(f): 9:17am On Oct 29, 2017
Eve and Adam were one, they both make up Adam. There was no way Adam (half of the one) wouldn't have eaten the fruit, it was just a matter of time.

My brother, there is nothing to wonder there.
Even animals that didn't even eat the fruit are still inflicted with same curse.

So, no matter what the plot is, the theme has already been fixed by the ancient cavemen who wrote the bible with the motive of trying to explain the mysteries surrounding the world

The salvation of mankind wouldn't have required the ultimate price. Man might have been able to atone for woman. But since both fell and all their descendants by extension, another man was needed to restore (Jesus).

Have you ever wonder if it was only Eve that ate the forbidden fruit,
Eating the forbidden fruit is double entendre.
One of the meanings, is straightforward obvious,
but as for the other, given the same context, requires more line of thinking, which is beyond the scope of answering thread & OP's question

cutebobo:
would God have created another female
God had gone past the stage of creating human beings the manner He created Adam and Eve
The further creating of male or female had been passed on or handed over to human beings legally resident on earth
so, No, God would not and never have created another female

cutebobo:
kill Eve,
Why would God kill an already dead human being?
Wasnt Eve, the moment she ate off the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, living on already borrowed time?

cutebobo:
create another world of suffering for only Eve
Why cant God be given some credit?
God is not sadist to be creating other world of suffering for anyone
Each create, own's world of suffering. Each make the choice

cutebobo:
or what would have happened?
If Adam had managed to not have succumbed to pressure, nothing, except to Eve, would have happened
If he had managed to resist the temptation of taking the fruit handed to him by Eve
and followingly, not eat off the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
then nothing else, except Eve's unavoidable, would happen

An2elect2:
Eve and Adam were one, they both make up Adam.
There was no way Adam (half of the one) wouldn't have eaten the fruit, it was just a matter of time
And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

- Genesis 1:31

"... was good", as in the good adjective, wasnt used for nor used after Adam and Eve were created
this is unlike the six "... was good" that were used after each of the other creations that spanned the six days

Adam and Eve, only received some semblance or accolade of "good", courtsey of a collective acknowledgement of merit
and that Genesis 1:31's "...was very good" wasnt saying that Adam and Eve individually, were good and so created perfect
but that, the whole creation idea, as a whole, with Adam and Eve in it, was very good

So yes, potentially and with a matter of time, Adam could have, would have, might have eaten
and also Adam could have, would have, might have done the complete opposite.

Anyway the proof of the pudding was in the eating,
and now we are familiar with the outcome and in the know of what happened after eating

chemystery:
My brother, there is nothing to wonder there.
Even animals that didn't even eat the fruit are still inflicted with same curse.

So, no matter what the plot is, the theme has already been fixed by the ancient cavemen who wrote the bible with the motive of trying to explain the mysteries surrounding the world
24And God said,
Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds
—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.”
And it was so.
25And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds,
and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind.
And God saw that it was good

And unto Adam he said,
Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife,
and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying,
Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;
in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

- Genesis 3:17

ROTBL, chemystery and his modest take.
Everything came out of the ground, as a matter of fact, Adam himself, too was made out from earth
Now, let's mutually agree that animals, the whole shebang, at God's command, the ground produced each or them all.
So, Adam, surely, must have done something heinous, other than just mere eating of fruit, for the ground getting cursed because of him

Bolaji21:
The salvation of mankind wouldn't have required the ultimate price.
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world.
Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

- Romans 5:12

So you see, just as death came into the world through a man,
now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man

- 1 Corinthians 15:21

The salvation of mankind wouldn't have being required
and paying the ultimate price would be unneccesary because Adam's genome hasnt been tainted
How human genome works is public knowledge
And scientists have since discovered, that we look more like our dads but are more related to our mums.

Off topic, genomes, includes chromosomes, the genes (i.e. the coding regions) and the non coding DNA
The body is constantly making more blood cells, so blood is a renewable genome resource.
The necessity, of the precious blood of Christ, in a sinful world, (i.e. missed the target/missed the aim world) becomes visibly apparent

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2977710/People-genetically-like-fathers-mothers-Scientists-discover-use-paternal-DNA.html

Bolaji21:
Man might have been able to atone for woman.
But since both fell and all their descendants by extension, another man was needed to restore (Jesus).
"...another man was needed to restore (Jesus)" is sound, deep and heavy

But just as it is written,
"Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love Him."

- 1 Corinthians 2:9

"Life has been better ..." is a belief based on grandiose delusion
"....all thanks to the serpent" is mistaken trust and misplaced loyalty

Yahweh has been defeated!
Because God's children are human beings
--made of flesh and blood--the Son also became flesh and blood.
For only as a human being could He die,
and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.

The Records which gave you the information about Eve clearly and unequivocally said that "she gave to her husband with her and he did eat it"

Kpam! She was not the only one who ate the fruit!

Yes oh! She should have done one more good work by ensuring that she died alone.

Maybe The Good Lord would have made a way for her to die and live again as He has done for us.

But No, typical of a True Satan Lover, she said "She's not going alone, everything must go with her. She go die kon leave her husband make e Kon dey continue to dey live dey go, lai,lai ti lai, lai"
