Do you have to waste your time with these people? They chose not to say anything about my explanation of the verse. They are only twisting the verse to suit the errors they claim. They'll keep pushing you...

Your "explanation" was full of discordant tones.

1. Allah states that He took a pledge from every Prophet .... that when Allah gives them the Book and the Hikmah ... ... then a Messenger came afterwards, they would believe in and support him.

The quran records no such prophets living at the time of Mohamed. The pledge is therefore irrelevant. If Allah knew they would not be living during the time of Mohamed why exact a pledge from them?

2. Allah took the pledge from the Prophets that they would believe in each other.
Then the Prophets are to take pledges from their nations.

Where in the world did you see all these in the verse under review!!!?

3. Your last paragraph is so convoluted that it will take a thread on its own.

NOTHING in the verse we are looking at is talking about the things you brought up in the last paragraph.

So you have not really addressed the issues; and you want us to clap for you?

Ishmael was not a prophet neither was Lot . Jethro was a priest and not a prophet:

Exodus 3:1 KJV
Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, ......

A prophet is someone who delivers messages from God to the people. That is, he is someone who utters divinely inspired revelations.

Biblically , Lot was not a prophet because there is no record of any message he received from God for the people arround him as at then.

Ishmael was not a prophet and no record of any divine message he received as well. The fact that he was born by Abraham does not make him a prophet. Abraham had many other children aside from Ishmael and Isaac , can we refer to them as prophets too?

Is there any where in the quran where the messages of God from Ishmael was mentioned?

in d bible there are not prophet which must have been misinterpreted to keep you sinking in ignorance

Ismael and his father built the kaabah. Where all muslims face to worship Allah

Sir pls let end this discussion here because some guys are provoking me already to avoid venting the anger on the wrong person pls sir let's end it here

Islam wants to ATTRACT everyone, so it claims that every well known person from Adam to Jesus, particularly those having to do with Judaism and Christianity, was a Moslem.

Yet Islam refuses to accept the books recording the lives of these people because it wants to stick to its own version of the history of these people to make it conform to its worldview.

Particularly it wants all to accept that Mohamed was the "best" of the Prophets even when Islamic history itself shows otherwise. Mohamed CONTRAVENED everything the other Moslems are to do. For example, he had more wives and sex slaves than Allah allowed any Moslem: Yet no Moslem can pattern his life after this even though many Moslems will argue that they are to pattern their lives after his. They end up creating a larger-than-life picture of what Mohamed was for Moslems to follow.

Islam therefore resort to "reinterpretation" of what ordinarily should be simple to understand or interpret. And all this is to make people "see" what they want them to see and not the reality.

How can one believe something one has doubt about?

What is the whole purpose of all these discussions?

You have to clear the doubts first. But you're making a poor job at that so far.

We make things clear.

It's you Moslems who always come up with “ingenious” reinterpretation to “clarify” what Allah REALLY means.

Things are never as they seem with you guys. If the quran talks in the present tense you can always come up with your ingenious reinterpretation to "show" that the quran REALLY meant past tense.

If the quran and the Hadith day that the sun sets in a pool of muddy water you come up and say that what the quran "really" meant was that "it appears as if" it sets in a pool of muddy water. Every other thing surrounding the naration is thrown overboard. That's "smart" reinterpretation!

Here we have a passage about those who are to "help" Mohamed but you guys come up with your "reinterpretation" that the "helpers" did not have to be living at the same time as Mohamed.

Very convenient!

malvisguy212:
Allah say in the Qur'an that, there will be prophets around to assist Muhammad in his mission, in fact Allah Even made it a covenant to this prophets.
Surah 3:81:
Allah took a COVENANT with the PROPHETS, saying: “Now that you have been given the Book and Wisdom; there will come to you a Messenger (MUHAMMAD) who will confirm that which is with you, you will have to believe in him and HELP HIM IN HIS MISSION. ” Then He said “Do you affirm this covenant and agree to take this heavy responsibility?” The PROPHETS replied, “Yes, we do affirm.” Allah said, “Very well, bear witness to this and I too bear witness with you.”

Now,A careful examination of Surah 3:81 reveals the following:
(1) Allah made a Covenant with the Prophets who lived before the time of Muhammad.
(2) These Prophets were called upon by Allah to pledge their support to a forthcoming Messenger who was to appear to them later.
(3) This coming Messenger will confirm the previous
Book of Allah which is in the possession of these
Prophets .
(4) Since this Messenger will come during the lifetime of these Prophets , they will be on hand to personally witness his confirmation of their sacred Book .

None! Not a single Prophet , from among whom Allah allegedly made the Covenant with, was present at the time of Muhammad. Yet, Allah clearly testified to the presence of these Prophets during the time of this Messenger .

This leaves us with two options:
One: Allah was wrong in his claim regarding the presence of Prophets during the time of Muhammad.
Two: The Messenger mentioned in Surah 3:81 is referring to someone other than Muhammad.

What is even more damaging for Islam is the fact that Muhammad excluded himself as the Messenger in Surah 3:81 . Why do we say that? This is because Muhammad clearly ruled out the co-existence of any
Prophets during his career as the
Messenger of Allah. Muhammad openly testified to this reality when he proclaimed the following to his early Companions.
Sahih Muslim, Book 30, Number 5835:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and NO PROPHET WAS RAISED BETWEEN ME AND JESUS.

Let us pause for a moment and let this sink in. Here we find two conflicting teachings in Islam. Allah clearly stated in Surah 3:81 that there would be Prophets to assist Muhammad. In contrast, Muhammad taught there would be none. Muslims have to choose between Allah and Muhammad. If Allah is right, then Muhammad is wrong. On the other hand, if Muhammad is right, then Allah is wrong. Either option destroys the legitimacy of Islam since this clearly demonstrates that one of them is definitely in error. As events unfolded, it became evident that there were no Prophets at the time of Muhammad. Thus, Allah was clearly in error. Man can make mistakes but not God.
[3:81]
Allah then explained His covenant with the prophets on the day of “Yes, indeed!” regarding Muhammad's
traits and description, saying: (When Allah made (His) covenant with the Prophets) He says: Allah made a
covenant with the prophets that they will show to one another the traits, description and merit of
Muhammad, ((He said): Behold that which I have given ye) when I did give you (of the Scripture and knowledge) containing details of the lawful and the unlawful. (And) you also made a covenant with your
nation that (afterward there will come unto you a messenger, confirming) by calling to Allah's divine
Oneness (that which ye possess) of Scripture. (Ye shall believe in him) He says: you shall acknowledge him
and his virtue (and ye shall help him) with the strugle against his enemies and also by expositing his trait and this help will includes you telling all the people am sending each of you to by taking this information from generation pass on to another generation till he comes, so to make it easy for him since most of the people must have held about his coming and many shall be ready to assist him in his mission for all humanity
(He said: Do ye agree?) Allah asked them whether they accepted (and will you take My burden) My
covenant (in this) what I said? (They) the prophets (answered: We agree) we accept. (He) Allah (said: Then
bear ye witness) of this. (I will be a witness with you) of this also. Allah thus made them witnesses of one
another and He Himself is a witness. And so each prophet explained this to his nation, and each prophet
made the members of his nation witnesses for each other, just as each prophet bore witness to it.

This was a covenant made before Allah stated sending each prophet to the nations. We as human also made the similar covenant to come and serve Allah alone but you may not be able to remember because it’s a test of life and death for reward with either Hell or Paradise.

Hadiths on Importance of Cleanliness

Here the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) gave the greatest importance to remaining clean by declaring it as a part of faith.

1. Abu Malik Al-Ash`ari (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Purity is half of iman (faith). “

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) provided Muslims with a means to please Allah (SWT) through something that is beneficial to them.

2. Aisha (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “The miswak (a twig used for tooth brushing) cleanses and purifies the mouth and pleases the Lord.”
(An-Nasa’I and IbnKhuzaimah; authenticated by Al-Albani)

3. Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
“Were it not that I might overburden my followers, I would have commanded them to use the miswak before every prayer.”
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) declared personal hygiene to be basic human nature.

4. Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Five practices are of the fitrah (natural disposition): circumcision, shaving the pubic region, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short.”
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) informed us of one of the ways on how to gain forgiveness on the best day for Muslims

5. Abu Dharr (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Whoever takes a bath on a Friday and does it well, and purifies himself and does it well, and puts on his best clothes, and puts on whatever Allah decrees for him of the perfume of his family, then comes to the mosque and does not engage in idle talk or separate (pushing between) two people; he will be forgiven for (his sins) between that day and the previous Friday.”
(IbnMajah and authenticated by Al-Albani)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) not only gave importance to personal hygiene by also informed us to keep the environment clean.

6. Mu`adh (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) warned,
“Beware of the three acts that cause you to be cursed: relieving yourselves in shaded places (that people utilize), in a walkway or in a watering place.”
(Ranked sound, hasan,by Al-Albani)

7. Abu Dharr Al-Ghafari (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said,
“Removing harmful things from the road is an act of charity (sadaqah).”
(Authenticated by Al-Albani)

So is either you are lying or they don't knw what they are doing or they are not muslims

Wall'Allahu a'alam

If you like wash yourself with hypo and be as white as snow, if your heart is not clean and pure you can't fellowship with the Holy God.

Also, there is no way we(mankind) can be pure and clean in heart without Christ Jesus our sanctifier and only purifier.

allahh seems to be a bad communicator hence Muslims all over the world usually fail to understand a simple sentence in the Quran. Muslims, in order to understand allahh have to go to the hadith, the tasfir and the so-called scholars because allahh was not clear in almost all his statements in the Koran.

Why do Muslims like deceiving themselves? To my knowledge Muslims seem to have a better understanding than allahh.
