Consultant bawo... Evaluate OND and HND, the combo is acceptable and its migration points are even higher than that of B.Sc Accounting. Both should do d evaluation and IELTS GT. I can't tell u to read any page!

I just got an ITA and hope this does not amount to misrepresentation.

ii. In the last 10 years, how many total years of skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).

I chose 3 years but it is 1.25 years in the first company and 2 years in the second company which are NOC 0 and NOC A jobs.

Enter it as you have stated. You should be able to first enter your NOC 0, and then your NOC A. This means both NOC will count towards your express entry and only one of them towards your FSW score.

Yes to both questions, and I'd like to believe you can create your EE profile without your Uncle.

Not sure an official OID list exists currently IMO

Hi All, am also exploring the PNP route and i like the direction this is going. How can one check PEI in-demand jobs outside the job bank? was hoping to see a listing inline with FSW indicating various NOC categories and job titles in-demand for PEI.

Out of curiosity... I know its very unlikely but has anyone ever gotten an upgrade for Listening or Reading in IELTS?

This is for someone who believes she can get an upgrade, she is just 0.5 off
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by browndoll: 2:54pm On Nov 10, 2017
But what kind of scam is BC running?how do you give someone a 6.5 then upgrade to a whole 8 after she complains?? What kind of haphazard marking is that one?just so she can register with another N68k?Shouldn't we complain? If the tables are turned now they'll say we are fantastically corrupt SMH

sweetrie:
My brothers and my sisters, back from BC Abuja. My score was upgraded from 6.5 to 8.0. thank you plenty for everyone that answered and contributed. So Abuja people won't inform you of your EOR outcome. Just go collect the result. EOR took 8weeks.

Hmmm. I don't know o. That is why they try to discourage remark by using the long 8 - 10weeks wait. Knowing that you can't rewrite just one module, you just have to pay the 68k again

I repeat: this monopoly must stop! I wish I know how we can deal with this situation.

Of course, they're aware that one is in dire need of this stuff as per immigration. So one is left with no choice than to register again.

Please @mamacajah get into the pool asap if you have completed your ECA. For every birthday after the age of 35 you will lose 5 CRS points. I personally experienced this (no thanks to IQAS). The new tie-break rule also gives applicants who have stayed longer in the pool an early mover's advantage.

One of the reasons I'll suggest people to carefully explore all their options before requesting an EOR. Each individual's personal circumstances differs. Once you are in the pool your age is frozen even if you didn't receive an ITA before your birthday.
It's for every birthday after the age of 29. Once u hit 30, minus 5, u hit 31 minus 5 again and so on

Your age does not freeze while in d pool oooo.... If you're yet to get ITA your age keeps decreasing at every birthday. It is until you get ITA that 'they said' your age will freeze.

Let's be guided on information we give out so as not to mislead people. We will all celebrate at the end by God's grace.

I wish BC or Immigration officers will start accepting combined IELTS. SO if you missed a band in one, you can use a different result to add to cover for any module that was not in your favour. Like (waec + neco) combination. becaues 68k no be beans ohh cool cool cool cool

That's the way it should be. Afterall they just wanna know if you are good in that part and each of the module is mutually exclusive.

But they wont want to reduce their income now.

God bless you thanks quote author=stealth02 post=62233650]There appears to be a dearth of information surrounding PNPs and just as @codew0rks mentioned previous attempts at creating a PNP thread was shut down. Notwithstanding some members on this thread got their PPRs through provincial programs. Here's a link to some useful information about PNPs culled from Part 1 thread

https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/144#47208212

I felt I should give an overview and summary application costs for PNPs that DON'T require a job offer. However most of them have target occupation lists but generally in the NOC 0, A or B categories similar to the Federal requirement

- SK $300 (Saskatchewan has an In-Demand Occupation list)
- NB $250 (New Brunswick is currently targeting occupations in IT AND applicants must show connections to NB by attending an information session or studied in NB)
- PE $300 (Prince Edward Island has no specific target occupation list)
- MB $500 (Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas have no specific target occupation list BUT applicants must show social ties - have family, friend or studied in Manitoba or attended an information session)
- ON $1500 (Ontario EE Human Capital Priority Stream has no target occupation list but applicant must have CRS of 400 or more to be invited)
-NS No application fees (Nova Scotia Demand EE Stream- Category 2 has a target occupation list)

Also be aware that some of the various programs are selective about certain ECA assessments that they accept. In addition to sending your ECA to IRCC you will also be required to inform your assessing body to send a copy of your assessment directly to the PNP program once you receive their ITA/NOI otherwise this may delay your application for provincial nomination

- SK/PE/MB/ON/NS accept all IRCC designated ECAs (CES,ICAS,WES,IQAS,ICES,MCC,PEBC)
- NB accepts only CES, ICAS, WES, MCC and PEBC

The current processing time for PNPs on the CIC website is stated as 6 months(same as FSW). However there's no hard and fast rule for how long it takes to receive a provincial nomination once you submit your Expression of Interest - obviously this would vary from one province to another.

Note that the various programs have different PoF requirements some even lower than CIC's but applicants would ultimately be required to show funds that comply with the Federal scheme when submitting to CIC for their PPRs.

Generally, PNPs have a residency requirement that the applicant intends to live and work in that particular province. However it's still being argued that the 2 years residency is not mandatory. Take NB for example which requires applicants to sign form NBNP006 'Declaration of Commitment to New Brunswick' but doesn't clearly specify how long you are required to live in NB after showing yourself to the NBNP program officer within 30 days of your arrival in Canada.

Section 6(2) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms states that a Canadian Permanent Resident can move anywhere within the country.

Section 6(2)
Every citizen of Canada and every person who has the status of a permanent resident of Canada has the right:
a) to move to and take up residence in any province; and
b) to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province.

Hopefully more information would become available in coming posts to help intending applicants successfully navigate the PNP process as in the case of FSW.

Best wishes[/quote]

Hi all! Please i need clarification on something. I have a father in Canada but we haven't spoken in a while since he relocated there some years back. Because i can't get d document required to prove relationship to him i stated NO to the question asking if we have relatives in canada. So i didn't claim points for him

Post ITA i am being asked the same question and i responded no. However there is a portion where we are required to list all immediate family members not stated on the application. I think for background checks. Can i state his name and where he lives then write a letter of explanation to explain why i didn't claim points for him? Does it count as misrepresention?
