Gurus in the huouse, I was denied a shegen tourist visa today on the grounds that "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided" as they put it. 1.You get it at the embassy at the day of interview you will see dhl or FedEx . FedEx is the cheapest depending on your location I stay in Lagos mile 2 estate I paid like 750 or so.

2.Depends on the days you want

Tourist or family visit?
If your daughter not going with you why then do your need NPC certificate dont know any were in ikorudu but am aware of npc office in surulere in Babs animashaun

Please I need clarification on certain German tourist VISA requirements which I saw in the PDF attached link on the first page.
The first is this

typed and signed sheet with the following information: name, d.o.b., place o.b., passport
number, telephone number, email, postal address, contact in Germany (name and address)

1. What if I do not have anyone inviting me to Germany, since I would be going as a tourist on my own and I planned to stay in my hotel throughout my stay as a tourist, do I really need to submit a "typed and signed sheet with the following information: name, d.o.b.......contact in Germany"? or a print out at booking.com would be good enough? -Should be I guess.

2. leave letter from employer
My organization uses an electronic vacation planning and approval system, where if an employee wants to go vacation, he login into the website, apply for the number of days and it gets approved by his manager. My question is if an approved print-out of such vacation can be submitted at German embassy without the "leave letter from your employer"?

3. This is concerning the "letter of introduction from employer". Do embassy actually call an HR Manager and confirm if the employee is truly known to the HR Manager? I am just checking. And again, why is document like this really necessary?

There is no big deal with the application. The interview is a kind of interactions. Provide the documents as outlined in the lists from the German consulate website. It just basic questions about your work, where you are going to, your family etc. Anyway, have had a successful interview twice. The second one was two weeks ago and had a multiple visa to spend 90 days of six(6) months.

How can I make flight reservation and hotel reservations for german tourist visa.

I am asking because there is a limit period like 48 - 72 hours and it will be cancelled if not paid for.

My fear is that if the embassy tried verifying....

Secondly is it a must I include a courier paid return envelope? .

Why not! Its better you have over document than submitting under document. You are good to go but make sure you have sufficient cash in your account in millions.

depending on the kind of orgsnisation your company is. if its a big conglomerate like chevron, shell, banks etc of course such documents will not be release to you not even photocopies. only a detailed letter on the company's letter head paper will suffice, the Enbassy know this and the organisation would have contacted the embassy prior to your appointment i suppose
