Zera Yacob (philosopher) • He was an Ethiopian philosopher in the 17th century AD. • His philosophy works on Metaphysics, Epistemology, Value theory (Ethical values and Aesthetics) and Gender issues had regarded him at least to be on pair with European philosophers if not better. • One of his student by the name "Wolde Hiwot" was also a great philosopher and contributed his own works on the areas his teacher Zere Yacob covered. • He is considering to be the father of Ethics by some scholars.
