Jesus said celebrate my death by observing the Lords supper frequently and not a fixed day/date.
Also, I worship God every day or any day I like because the death of Jesus has abolished the sabbath day :-

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days" Colossians 2:16

"One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." Romans 14:5

Ah some Christians are confused no wonder we have different denominations,do you realize that what you wrote some Christians would not agree even from the same bible.Okay how many Christians observe the lord supper. You worship impeached anyday you like leave us that wants to celebrate his birth on the 25th because as far as I know calendar and months of the year and days of the week were not in existence at that time. And leave us that are truly persuaded in our own mind.

Some people are of the opinion that Christmas is not biblical because Jesus never celebrated his birthday in the Bible. Yes they might be right. But don't forget that some of our parent don't even know their birth date, month and year, they just pick a date to celebrate it. The WORLD picking a date to celebrate JESUS doesn't mean it is not biblical but just to celebrate JESUS because he's the SAVIOR of the world. Come to think of it, how many people do we celebrate in the Bible apart from Jesus Christ yearly?? Jesus is more than a day celebration. I celebrate you our savior. Merry Christmas friends

Yes and true Christians don't go to worship God on Sunday because Sunday is not the Sabbath the Sunday worship was made to worship the sun god which is paganic. It was the Roman emperor constantine that Changed it to Sunday from Saturday.
True Christians also don't observe new year, celebrate birthdays, burial ceremonies e.t.c because it has pagan origin

Merry Christmas everyone.

His birth should be celebrated. Even if there are thousands of gods linked to Christmas,

I know who I celebrate.

His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

As the Savior of the world,

His birth was the beginning of redemption.

Glory to the Ancient of Days.

Nobody said Jesus was born on the 25th of December, it's just a day Christians chose to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ same as the death of Jesus Christ. Yes, the day may have been from a pagan origin but how about Sundays, do people not still sacrifice to their god's?
My definition of Christmas is a reminder of a Sacrifice Jesus made for men to have redemption and grace in the sight of God, it's worth celebrating .Santa Claus is what has been put in place for Children to relate to Christmas, is a way of telling children to be good cos there is a reward for being good at the end of the year.
It's not stated in the Bible to celebrate Jesus birth but we find good in it just the same way you find good in celebrating marriage anniversaries, birthdays etc
Pastor Kumuyi doesn't support Christmas but he celebrate his birthday, was it stated in the Bible that women should put on splitting skirt? But his female members do so. Did the Bible also tell them to put on Mary Am aka gown during weddings? But they do so.
Please, Nigerians are so sentimental about religion. I don't support OAP Freeze but I don't disagree with him either cos even in his 100% stupidity, there is 20% sense.

Whatever floats your boat.

But if you have an exact date of Christ's birth, let us know.

Ok no one has...so we decided to choose a date to celebrate it. Do you still have a problem with that?

The early apostles may not have seen the significance... but the later followers of Christ do; times and seasons change do you still have a problem with that?
include it in the Bible if you can then celebrate it officially. Confused Christian

No problem you can choose not to celebrate Christmas that's your problem. Don't drag some of us into the notion that it is a pagan worship because we all observed pagan days including you. The pagan calendar, birthday days, wedding anniversary, among others has paganism in it. Even the internet, phones, laptop, can foods e.t.c are own by a pagans so please don't use them because you are committing sin.
But don't eat any chicken or rice given to you on that day because you will become unclean
Am not against your believe since you are entitled to your opinion

All these arguments against the celebration of Christmas are just funny and ridiculous. You all seem so sure Jesus was not born on the 25th going by the definite claim you made yet you didn't provide the date he was born! you haven't made any point at all if u saying DEC 25 is not his birthday but then you can't say or u refuse to tell us his real and correct date of birth. Many evils are associated with Christmas? Lol, did u really say that? Like what are these evils? are their days full of good and no evil? Many of the activities connected with Christmas are idolatry, like what? eating chicken and organizing feasts? Christmas is a pagan holiday? Christmas is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Jesus! is Jesus an idol? Hows celebrating his birth tantamount to paganism? You said those against ur post should back it up with biblical evidence but then ur post is just mere assertion and no evidence to corroborate

You cannot choose a day to celebrate someone who never even told u to celebrate Him. Because some men decide to celebrate their birthday Then u want to equate Jesus who is immortal with man. He has already told us to celebrate His death by observing the Lords supper Yet u are celebrating another thing in the name of christmas which has nothing to do with His birth. Can't u see u are a confused christian who go about doing what He did not tell u to do while u are not doing what He has told u to do in His word!!!

My brother there are things we should just let be even if we argue till tomorrow. How can a person single out Christmas celebration as paganism yet they are involved in paganism? Same people will celebrate their birthdays not knowing that birthdays has pagan origin. I don't dispute the fact that they don't celebrate Christmas but they shouldn't force many of us to believe in their idea. I personally don't give a damb about Christmas celebration because I see no reason to celebrate but it doesn't mean I must force people to believe in my idea.
Re: 11 Reasons Why I Don't Celebrate Christmas by Nobody: 11:35am On Dec 26, 2017
In the case of Christmas, many of us know the holiday had pagan origin, yet today this origin have been set aside and the holiday marks Christ's birth. Knowing the intent of the holiday is now to honor Christ, we can choose to observe Christmas if we wish.
Hence we can observe that holiday for its intended purpose " that is Christ was born " to humanity.
Holidays simply have no bearing on our obedient relationship with Christ
You are free to ignore Christmas or to celebrate it as you wish without fear of condemnation. Again, a Christian has liberty to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in his or her own walk concerning meaningless issues, without regard for how other Christians choose to act under similar circumstances. If the spirit says don't celebrate Christmas no problem. This case is similar to those saying wearing of gold and earrings is sinful.

Jesus didn't command that his birthday not be celebrated neither did he command it not to be. God gave the ultimate gift to man out of love, check John 3:16 Christmas is celebrated to commemorate the greatest gift of all. The bible only spoke about keeping the Sabbath day holy, so does that mean going to church for weekly program or vigils is a sin? what does Christmas has to do with the birth of Jesus? It is set aside to remember his birth! Remind me the one he commanded in the scriptures that we are not keeping. Furthermore, do yourself the pleasure of reading

Romans 14:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5. One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.

6. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

Sister brain, even if we all didn't know the exact day and date Jesus was born, but the whole world have decided to pick a day out of 365days in a year to celebrate the birth of ancient of days, the one who owns the whole 365days in a year. So what's the problem please.

Please in the name of being sober, holy and not confirming to the world don't just conclude on what's not to be. There are many lost souls in the world that need to be brought to the knowledge of the gospel, so instead of bringing up a matter that has no footing, why not use that time to reach out to them by showing them the reason for the birth of the messiah.

So please enough of all these, Christ is the owner of the days in a year and a particular day was chose to celebrate him even if we all don't knows the exact date of his birth, so please...... NO CASE
How is Jesus the owner of all the days in a year, pls?
