I'm a medical doctor..as a doctor one needs to pass the licensing exam AMC 1and 2..which are written outside Nigeria and expensive. .though I have guys that have gone through this..for me and many many other doctors , our spouses ll be the primary applicants for PR, our gateway and our visa to aussie..

There's a Medical Administrator and primary health organization manager role. Both accessed by Vetassess. I'm assuming doctors can apply for these occupations or am I wrong?

You rock joor. Oshey... Pls one last question must it be my school to send the transcript to them directly or can I upload the copy I have for academic assessment

Depends on the assessment body..if it's Vetassess, your school has to send.

True...however, you can as well upload a copy with your application if you have. VETASSESS will proceed with the application pending when the validated copy from the school arrives. This quickens the assessment outcome. You won’t get any outcome if the school does not send directly to them.

Huge sigh of relief.
They gaveexample such as ministry of education...
Wonder who has assessed with TRA here.
Thanks trastar.Always helping out.Hope to be a guru also so I can help others out.
Also can one fill an EOI before TRS is done with the assessment outcome?

I think trastar has answered you already. Your university is the authority and you need to give each of your employers the employer template form and also support it with at least 3 months pay slip for each year.

Take your time to read all their requirements so you don't make any mistake, TRA won't ask you for further information before making their decision o.

Wow!!!!! What a year!!!! It's being a packed 365 days....
Lived in 3 cities...
Moved 3 times...
Done 6 jobs and currently doing the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th!
Moved from serious uncertainty to certainty!
Moved from struggling seriously just to have the basics to having the basics and nearly taking it for granted!
Moved from being in debt to not being indebted!
Moved from wishing to be a blessing to actually being a blessing!

Best year so far.....can see it's my turning point!

God's hand is written and imprinted all over these!

2018 is gonna be better and that is for me and all my friends!

Happy new year in advance my friends! May 2018 be the best so far for us!
Congrats, happy new year!

If you have a good relationship with the HR, then let the HR do it but don't forget to draft your job duties to align with what is required of that occupation. And really with your bsc, TRA won't dwell much on your work experience because you are more like overqualified for the occupation you are going for, so your education is the most important thing.

They did not even contact my employer at all but they called the school and verified my transcript.

I think I gave them the registrar's contact. But don't worry they have a way of contacting the school.

I would not have known they contacted the school if not that the school requested I pay for the transcript verification, so I saw the mails exchange between the registrar and TRA case officer.

Sincerely, I don't really know about migrating as a doctor but I know that you would have to pass the licensing exams to be able to practise here. Try researching on the DIBP website, there should be information there, doctors here can help with information as well

CC: Doctors in here

Thanks for the prompt response and advice

Waow does this mean even the occupations that are not highly competitive but have 65points do not stand a chance?

I dont think you can apply as a medical doctor from Nigeria without writing their board exams. However, i think some doctors have applied with occupations in the medical field that doesn't require u to write an exam. when u get to australia, u can now sit for the exams.
Look through the list, there are several medical occupations, check the assessing body's website for their requirements and see if you are eligible to apply for those without having to write an exam
Good Luck.

Thanks alot I really appreciate your response

Hello house,

I have less than 2years work experience (1 year and 7months to be precise) but just one year is post-qualification. All other documents are intact. Do i stand a chance of getting a positive assessment. I heard the years of experience is not enough to go ahead. Please help me clarify this.
