Since the country's laws says private security guards can't have firearms, what would you rather people who need protection do? I hope you also complain that police protect banks and private businesses. If police are not to be used as private guards, then security firms should be licensed to bear arms.

My point is.. u cant sit in ur house and think u can think and reason for another man.. he has been in this business for years and he is still using them. That means they are providing him with the services he wants. He can hire whichever security aids he wants but he chose Mopol. Many rich and famous Nigerians use Mopol for such services..

what u need to understand is that the police u are exposed to, is not same police these rich guys use. I know what Im saying. Also, what makes someone competent is usually the available tools given to him or her. In this case, the Mopol who secure ur politicians, celebrities and rich citizens are provided with all the much needed training, arms and security kits needed to function at top level.

Private security firms are not allowed to hold firearms which reduces their effectiveness as guards. As a result, anyone who wants security is forced to hire MOPOLs.
