good day house , pls kindly help me.... the issue is when ever I wish to charge my phone with my hp pavillon G6 , it will only charge when the laptop is on. but when ever is on sleep mode or hibernate which I prefer most in order to save my battery , it will not charge. pls what should I do or is it the setting.

Na power bank your laptop be?

Click on battery icon!
Select the sleep mode option and reset it

Then change the setting to ur wish

@spartan177: have done your instruction by clicking through universal serial bus controller to uncheck all USB Root Hub, EVERY THING IS NOW WORST, presently if I PLUG my phone to my laptop via USB, my phone keep making repeated sound showing CHARGING AND DISCHARGING REPEATEDLY, I try pluging my phone to to another laptop it charge normal. pls help everyone and seriouslly confuse

- Select "Change when the computer sleeps"

- Change it to "Never"

Now you have a power bank!

Not the best option for your computer though.
