Yes,you may say so and even Liverpool thought so too,that was why they refused any offer for him in the past summer(August).

But given that the guy has spent 5years at Anfield without any form of silverware......And the way he remained professional playing heart out,giving his all during these past 5& half months despite tending a transfer request and his willingness to join FCB,..........he could have easily done a Sanchez style but he didn't he decided to stay professional all through..........It is only fair that the LFC board grant him his wishes.

Besides it is not very wise to keep an unhappy player ..........Sanchez & even our very own Van Dijk are perfect examples.
