The Senior Pastor or GO should Preach n Teach Family issues and Happy Home every day. Not just an issue of referring it to some departments led by the junior Pastors to handle.

it is not d junior pastors that preach and teach family issues in m.f.m,d last one I attend was preach by d assistant General overseer, so I don't know what u re talking about

Oooh, they just assign issues of Family and Marriage to some departments to handle while they Preach and teach Wealth and Prosperity in the General Congregation every Sunday.

for ur information, m.f.m did not assign it to a department, they preach it on Sundays (3rd sunday of d month), I was opportune to attend their church last year and I was really blessed...hopefully I will join them again this year)

happy home service or Sunday is held on every 3rd Sunday of the month. Each branch connects live to the international headquarters and the preaching and prayers for that Sunday are focused on building Godly homes. There is even time for questions, like an hour.
P.S. The G.O. mustn't handle everything. this group has pastors as well as marriage counsellors to handle this. MFM

We hear of prosperity and the likes, gone are they days when a Sunday would be set aside to talk about issues concerning family values, how parents should handle a situation in the home and marriage , especially for young intending couples.

What about teaching and preaching about the end times?

I guess when teaching an issue or topic it brings about the discussion of other topics


If issues concerning the family are been discussed definitely salvation would be talked about, when I was little when issues concerning family is discussed, they also talk about Armageddon and we the little ones with our little mind would hope an pray we all goto heaven together with our parents and sibling, so we would behave well so we would make heaven . Preaching the word,sharing no matter how little, helping the needy etc all boils down to act or walk the way Jesus christ did.

Mfm, every 3Rd Sunday we watch teachings on marriage from the headquarters. All branches connect and watch, there's a sermon on marriage( sometimes G.O takes the sermon sometimes some A.GOs) then there's question and answer segment.

That's what we do 3rd Sundays and if for any reason we don't connect( maybe network or logistics) the branch pastor preaches on marriage and then questions are answered.

Ah, every time time the homily revolves around home values. He spares no ox, he doesn't sugar-coat the expectations from the two parties involved. He holds family highly, matrimony is a sacrament after all.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU. A LARGE SECTION OF THE CHURCH ESPECIALLY IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD IS PREOCCUPIED WITH PROGRAMS & PROJECTS RATHER THAN PEOPLE AS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.
