That is how a lot of people have missed out of a lot of opportunities here on nairaland. There is this episode where a friend was got some appliances for sale at rock bottom price because he needed to clear out his goods asap, I advised him to come on nairaland since his price was extremely cool. Na so he register, put out his business, someone asked for the price of an appliance, claimed it was too expensive, something that was about 50% off and others started shouting too expensive. Na so a mod delete the poor guy post na, he told me it was a great waste of time. 1 Like |

Elvis is a cool lad, didn't even know about all these. From the few conversations i had with him like 3 years ago when we first spoke, he looked set for great things. Humble and determined. Thanks for the thread OP. Been following his progress on facebook so I already know about the cnn post. But it's good people see it here to. The Mod should take this to front page. Its an inspirational story to read (the cnn post) and those threads will also serve as proof of the challenges he faced. |
