My Wife is an American Citizen and she has a 2 years Nigerian Visa that will expire by this June 2018, Now she is coming to Nigeria By This February , I want to know if her Nigerian Visa can be renewed when she gets here cos she plans to stay more than June and how can we get her a resident permit here please anyone help.

I think she can renew it in Nigeria.

But know she can only be stamped in for One Month into Nigeria.

As regards resident permit I know nothing about.

She can renew her Visa within Nigeria at any immigration office.

Since she is married to you, you can request for 'Niger Wife' residence permit also at any immigration office. If you are in LagosN preferably at Alagbon-Ikoyi immigration office.

How and where will that be done, Last time she was here was in June 2016 and now she is coming back and will be staying for atleast 5months to 6months she has till june left before her current visa expire so need to know if there will be a place to renew it here without trouble

I also use Nigerian Visa's sometimes, and have never bothered checking how long I was stamped in, until one time I stayed for 5 weeks and had issues going back.

It was then I discovered they only stamp you in for One Month.

To your question. Yes you can renew or extend her visa at the immigration office nearest to you.

You must be married for a while before she can be eligible for Residence Permit as 'Niger Wife.
