On this I agree with TM..African parents raise up their female kids with iron fist ;all in preparation for 'marriage';to a man without morals and proper upbringing. When a man cheats;there must be something she did wrong and ur expected to fight for ur marriage and engage in "War Room-movie" prayer tactics;but if the woman cheats;na her papa house straight.
I heard some guys at a joint gisting and teasing each other recently;saying they must marry oo;say dem don tire to dey chop outside and its cheaper home cooking with our economic meltdown.Sadly thats one of the major reasons y some men got married.Live in cook in the name of wife.I intend to bring up my sons and daughters with the same iron fist & prepare them for that lady & guy they will marry eventually. No discrimination..

Of what use is all that training if she ends up with a poorly trained boy? Parents have their work cut for them in raising responsible, reliable and accountable children, sadly they are failing woefully going by all the moral decadence going on around us today.

truth. its like a pendulum now its tilting very squarely on feminist angle but when it will tilt towards male angle ehn they would have to look for another word to describe misogyny. anyway while I believe in women freedom and greater equality, some of these ladies need to learn that you can't seek equality on the basis of domination.

I see comments here about how boy are trained with soft gloves. are you kidding me, some of these women just go about spewing trash. it's the male child that has to be "a man", he's the one who's job it is to protect his sister and be strong. at home ,he does the heavy duty jobs. also In a situation where a robbery happens and a bunch of people are taken hostage,the negotiation starts with 'oh at least let the women and children go". need examples just look at the Titanic.

Being a boy here in this country, you are raised in a spartan way. Were i came from, we boys do the heavy jobs, what the girls do is cooking and cleaning which we also do very well. I have a mentality that i must protect all females in my house both the ones older than my father. i give my younger sisters the best things and tell my younger bro he doesn't have to complain that he is a man, this small boy is just 12. I scold him for beating his younger sister at home when she insults or disrespect him and i shower him with praises when he fights for her after she has probably insulted another boy outside. That was how i was raised, my cousin and i were taught to defend our sisters first as long as they stood a threat of being molested whether they are wrong or right.
Being a boy on this continent isn't soft, you wake up with the feeling that you have to be the one to save your family from poverty. It is your obligation to buy daddy a benz and build mummy a house. it is your sole responsibility to train or assist in the training of your siblings. Here, it is never about us first, it is about family first before us. i have guys who don't talk with their dads, not that they are quarreling its just that they come from a militarized background. where you are not allowed to have a relationship with your superior.
Please it isn't soft here for boys...help me tell them
