Bixby Bixby Bixby............

Such a useful feature, the only problem I have with Bixby is the designated bixby key (all it does is activate bixby).......

The location is also a problem, you want to hit volume button....... You accidentally hit bloody bixby.....

I had to find a solution....... Which brings me to a 3rd party app called Bixby Button Remapped - bxActions........ This app does not only remap the bixby button, but it also gives you multiple functionality to your bixby and volume control buttons........ Of course, pro version of the app is bae.......

Iyanya is sing well... It's not like a major major overhaul.. just Subtle changes.. We now have dual messenger grin & more customization on AOD

IMO Battery life seems to be worse

Awaiting my iyanya update..... Are you going to remap bixby?

Dual Messenger was already on the Note. Let's see what additional features iyanya would be singing through.....

Give it a week or so to test the battery properly.....

I thought I was the only one affected by the worse battery life. Btw, the reason the changes aren't much is because Samsung murdered Nougat versions for S6 upwards. It was a bigger change in most ROMS.

I don't need the Bixby button.. If I remap for any function.. Accidental operations will still happen..

Yeah noticed it too.. Not like the battery life is horrible, but nougat battery life is just a tad better.. Lets hope another update/patch will fix it

Some of the changes Google added to Oreo, Sammy had already implemented in Nouget

Exactly. I just laugh at ignorant folks and bloggers that often question Samsung update policies. They often make their versions better than the competition and include features in the next Android version.

I also hope an update will fix that, I dislike being unable to enabke/disable HDR with a tap. It's now in the settings which makes it stressful

Have you tried using Bixby or you just ignored it based on what reviewers said?

But that adds excessive wear on your power button. Considering the fact that bixby button is just redundant....

I don't know about you, but my Note is going to be in use for me till Note 11 comes out.........

Like seriously?
I don't believe in power button wearing out.
But let's assume power button wears out.
I hardly ever use the power button except powering on & putting off the phone(which hardly happens)
- I use AOD, I wake the phone up with on-screen button.
- I use 30 sec screen out time, I just throw the phone in my pocket, screen goes off. So no néed to press power button.
If any button should wear out.. I believe its the volume button self because I use it more frequently

Behind the power button is a soft membrane, it's that membrane that degrades over time....

When any button wears out, simply remap to bixby button...... You see, that bixby button would come good some day...

My eyes are on the op6,heard it might come with the dreaded notch . Far little info on the design right now. June is here.

For now we consumer's cannot be clamouring for bezel-less designs and not want notch.....

To notch or not to notch........ Pesin wey fit design and market an alternative, go hammer wella.......

Back to this 5D matter......... It became loose today and despite my numerous attempts to reinstall, it just kept falling off after a few minutes........

So I took the decision to completely take it off...... Might buy another sometime again and reapply.....

Bye Bye 5D (for now)......

Wireless charging in full mode........

The advent of wireless charging would save many smartphones from over voltage destruction.

That moment when NEPA (I am still old school) decides to supply power, and the light bulbs start the blow, freezer exploding, television emitting smoke (you get the gist)...... If you are utilising a wireless charging pad, no fear of device explosion...........
