Igbos More Concern On Our Status In Nigeria Than Igbo Presidency – Prof. Nwosu by 7Ebisco: 10:13pm On Mar 19, 2018
Prof ABC Nwosu, former political adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo has clarified the position of Ndigbo as 2019 general elections draw near.

He said Ndigbo are more favorably disposed towards political restructuring of Nigeria than Igbo presidency.

He stated this while fielding questions from Vanguard newspapers.
Asked as a prominent Igbo politician where Ndigbo stand on APC, PDP, “ Third Force “ or Igbo presidency, he said Ndigbo was both troubled about what Nigeria had become and their status in Nigeria.

In his words: Ndigbo are not only troubled by what Nigeria has become but also by what they have become in the diminished country they had very high hopes for at Independence.

Consequently, forces more than third, fourth and fifth forces are currently operating in the south east. Everyone outside Igboland sees only the neo-Biafra forces but the forces for restructuring of Nigeria are more potent and cut across all segments.

In my view, Ndigbo are more interested in political restructuring of Nigeria than in Igbo presidency. As the time for 2019 election approaches, these forces and tendencies in Igboland will begin to be resolved in a manner that will permit prediction as to what Ndigbo will do in the 2019 general elections.

Who presidency help sef? grin

The north with legions of almajirins with plastic plates to beg?
The west with the bloated IGR, and a litany of grown men beggers and plenty brown roofs?
The south with militancy and cultism?

I will rather we seek to avoid all these infected regions and isolate our region, our values, our zeal, our brilliance and our never-say-die-attitude.

Of what use is the presidency self

GEJ was president for 6 years, did it change anything about S/S There's nothing to show for it in south south

A yrouba man was president for 8 years and what did it change about S/W Nothing, instead he denied Lagos state it allocations for years, a state in his own region

What about the north? angry they are born to rule, yet they still have the highest numbers of illiterates with highest poverty in Nigeria.

An Igbo being a president will not add any value to igbos instead more hatred just like S/W and North hated gej, now see where their hatred have landed us to, MORE SUFFERING, MORE HARDSHIP. Igbos should focus more on developing their region instead of fighting for a presidency that'll bring more hatred for them

An idiot up there claimed the SouthWest has bloated IGR. Just because the SouthEast is struggling to catchup in IGR and Anambra continuously fails to release its IGR.

Maybe the bloated IGR the he-she hermaphrodite is talking about is fictitious Ugu leaf export from Anambra.

Or the SE with 2nd lowest IGR and highest refugee status in other regions...let's not forget that the SE also house the drug dealing kingpins of Nigerians in international countries.

Don't mind people talking about Igbo presidency. They forget that na people go vote am. Who will vote for an Igbo man when no one trust igbos or when igbos have lost allies due to their hatred of other tribes? Is it "afonjas" or "abokis" that will vote for a "flat head"?

The Igbo nation has lots of problem. One of them is their undeveloped region.

When you point out that Igbo land is underdeveloped or that it's not inviting to investors, they shamelessly claim "we own all our businesses" "Lagos is no man's land" or that "with all Yoruba IGR, they have brown roofs". Did Lagos develop in a day? When did Ogun start becoming a business hub? History have forsaken these people.

They're ignorant of the fact that while Yoruba cities were developing, igbos were still fighting over women in their evil forest.
They claim that Hausas have Kano as no man's land, Deltans have PH, Yoruba's Lagos, yet they can't point to their no man's land or any state of that equivalent. What state in the SE can compete with PH, Lagos and Kano?

These people are so shameless.

And when their locally owned businesses still do not generate significant IGR for their states as they refuse to pay taxes, then it must mean other states have bloated IGR because no one else must be above the Igbo.

Indeed, a certain dunce once preoccupied himself with lamenting and wailing about how Igbo women need to be protected from non-Igbo men. He took the matter so passionately like an idle mind builds castles in the air.

The day God was allocating shame, they were in the forest lamenting that other animals are marginalizing them by not being allowed to also live nake.d.

what does this rubbish you wrote have to do with igbo presidency? Na wao. Igbo people are saying they don't want presidency because the yorubas and the hausas and of course gej have all been presidents and that hasn't helped their regions in any way. Igbos want restructuring or biafra.

Gbammest. Either of Kano or kaduna will swallow the entire SE, Either of Ogun or Osun will dwarf the IGR of the entire SE also, Lagos is to too much to be brought into comparison with them, so just leave that one out of it. Let them compare the entire SE with any of the aforementioned states (Kano kaduna Ogun & Osun). Because last time I checked, the IGR of the whole SE is competing with Davido's account. grin grin

You made a mistake, Kigali is actually in Rwanda.

Politics is suddenly primitive because you suck at it.

lol.

How many women in Kano have the safe delivery kits compared to the populace in Kano. ?

What are you doing about your abysmal education levels, terrible socio -economics that seems to get worse if the latest UN release is to believed.

Nigeria has overtaken India as the nation with the highest number of terribly poor people.

Where do you think the largest percentage are located? The southeast.!?

Because one paedophilic alhaji leveraged on hopeless almajiri child voters to dominate the Senate and render Nigeria hopeless like the north, you think that makes you an equal of the igbo people?

Osun will not dwarf California, but it will swallow the IGR of the entire SE. Kill yourself.

Once you mention IGR, Nyamiris do 1 or a combination of the three things below;

1. Attempt to rubbish the significance of internally Generated Revenue as an indicator of economic productivity.

2. Try to distract from their shortcomings by comparing your superior IGR to New York or Tokyo, or bring up irrelevant issues.

3. Lie blatantly in the face of facts, then run away from the thread.
