Churches have been providing food for years. Some will say that the money should go into farms/industries. When churches did that there were people who protested saying what is the church doing with farming? They asked why offerings should be put into businesses? The church built schools and some aid why is the church into schools, are the teachers?

The only people that are not complaining are the givers, because they know they are giving to God and not to any man. Every true pastor is also a giver! That is easily forgotten by those who are criticising. There are pastors who spend good part of their income helping those who do not have.

The church truly must be making a good impact and that is why some are not happy!

Truth be told, what the government has failed at, and what no other faith has done, the church has accomplished. Some of the best schools today (and even before now) were church initiatives.

Stop the pastor bashing. Let God be the judge. Dont turn yourself into a follower of those whose main achievement in life is that they have been attacking pastors.

Many churches have been doing this before Freeze came on the scene. I know a RCCG church that MUST feed her members at least one sunday since 2013 and still doing it, only that CHANGE made them change from rice and chicken to small chops & drinks.

And the lectures and professors in those university will be knocking at you door for their heavy monthly salaries... Even the federal university getting fund from the federal govt are not run for free with the federal govt allocation, international support, private sector support and students school fee: federal university's lecturers still go on strike for inadequate payment of salary and other benefits.......

It is good to feed people around. It is also better to teach them how to feed others too. Lack of unemployment in the society is the genesis of church multiplication and fake pastoralism in our generation. I suggest that the Big time churches in Nigeria should begin to see establishment of Companies, Industries etc more than creation of church branches.

firstly I am not a member of redeem so I sincerely want to know. This CSR offering, where does it come from? also how many percent of a parish's income is remitted to the headquarters? from my limited knowledge I think 80% is about true. Please in all sincerity, enlighten me.
