Bros, to cut long story short, like you stated earlier, this world is a small world, I personally know Lt. John and I know that he is not 2chainzz. so what you should be demanding right now is his explanation for defaming the reputable image of our guy. cause we don't know what dubious things this guy must have done with John's photo

Never be too sure Oga. Previously Army don't take more than 4 candidates per state with reserve. But as time went on things changed they systematically increased intake, mind you Buratai sometime in 2016 said in a public fora that the army is set to recruit about 80k personnel in 8years.
Anything can happen, last year Air force passed out the highest number of enlisted airmen/women in its history (3000).

The Senate committee chairman on Nigerian Army said in an interview I watched on TVC that the kind of recruiting carried out by the Army is replacement recruitment.
Until the government has a target as regards the total number of personnel they want, recruitment will be based on availability of vacancies rather than recruiting inorder to attain the set target.

The only group for now looking at recruiting to attain a set target is police, there target is to attain the UN standard of 1 police officer to every 450 citizens even this has not been approved by government.
So until the Nigerian Army has a set target as regards recruitment, it will always be based on availability of vacancies not on set target.

I quite disagree with you bro. I remember reading a newspaper where COAS said that the army was about to increase its strength from 100,000 to about 200k in 8years.

That's very true but if it's not backed by the president, it goes no where.

Buratai wants to build up the army from all rounds but he's limited. remember he planned to recruit 12,000 last year but ened up with 6,000 the remaining 6,000 is what they are recruiting in this 77rri.

let's hope and pray they take much this year, it will favour us all.
