It is a thing of joy that more people are becoming politically aware in Nigeria, but it is sad a lot of these awareness has created a huge number of political commentators due to the ineffectiveness and incompetence of the Government. Political and economic blunders are been committed daily by the government that seem to be more comfortable speaking about and against its citizens outside the country than within. Effective communication is key to building a better relationship between the Government and its people. When a Government fails or try to shut down the voice of its citizens or try hard to justify its constant mistake, it becomes a big problem.
Let's look at the President's recent utterance at the detriment of the highest percentage of the country's population on who's votes he rode to power. While the outrage continues on his choice of words in describing, generalizing and downplaying the efforts of this group that majority rose from the inepititude of his generation to create a better environment for themselves despite the suffocation of several government policies is little compare to the lack of comprehension of the President on the questions asked him.
How do we justify the fact that the President derailed from the question asked him to shutting down potential investments opportunity that could benefit the willing and available percentage of this population? How do you even begin to think that the quest for better or free education, good healthcare and housing, a sense of entitlement? If you are one of those who is trying to justify his blunder, you need psychiatric evaluation.
It speaks some much on the stupidity of the older generations and those that have ruled, governed and are governing us that a lot of your suppose human resources are not educated and should be a thing of same coming from the President of the country. I do hope that the lack of education among the citizens that many of them have used as an easy ride to power would end some day soon so we can a better and more effective people in power.
Some of the defenders of foolishness even try to defend it with he didn't say lazy when you can easily google and search for what, "sit down

Kept taking Nigeria to the mud. The fowl-mouthed old crap has released two stench-full poos just in one visit.

First, Nigerian youths whom he said make up majority of the population are lazy and uneducated. That means, the country lacks the potential for investment as the people do not posses skill-set and mental ability needed for industrial growth and development.

Second, he vomited the venom that "Nigeria is vandalised." Pls, which Int'l investor will invest in a vandalised country? How will they be assured of return on investment in a vandalised country like Nigeria?

And, worst off, the President makes these statements and there are FOOLS that say, yes, he's right. How fast Nigeria is dying.

So much talk about the lazy Nigerian youth, everyone want to be heard. But in reality when the time to choose the political class e end the same youth is swayed by political, religious and tribal considerations instead of objectivity
BTW one would be shocked that a vast majority of the youth especially the literate and works class don't have the intention to vote

Go to other countries and you will see how hard working Nigerians are when compared. It baffled me because other countries said that Nigerians are hard working so how come our own president said that we are lazy people?

I totally agree. It seems there's this joy the dull man gets in disgracing Nigerians once he is outside the country. Like Seyi wrote, he derailed the question to vomit this trash. He was not asked about Nigeria's youths but an entirely different thing altogether but he, in his usual ignorance, found a way to rope his people into it.

Personally, I think Buhari is a fool and have no sense. The only thing he is qualified to run is stupidity. He's got no sense and his age has toughened the grip of stupidity in him. If he had a working brain he would have reasoned before opening that garbage-filled buccal cavity of his. How will that statement help his country or anyone?

Like he said:

"It speaks some much on the stupidity of the older generations and those that have ruled, governed and are governing us that a lot of your suppose human resources are not educated and should be a thing of same coming from the President of the country". There are so many foolish old men in this country and we must purged of their wits before we can move forward.

"Nigerian youths are lazy & uneducated. Always wanting free oil money" ~ PMB

Sir, you are absolutely correct. One of the lazy Nigerian youths who is enjoying free oil money had an accident with the power bike he bought with free oil money not too long ago, and he was flown abroad for treatment with free oil money, then he hired a jet with free oil money from London to Abuja after his treatment.

Sir, I completely agree with you that the Nigerian youths are lazy and uneducated and always wanting free oil money. Their role models are in Aso Rock enjoying free oil money without even solving any problem for the country. When they are ill, they fly abroad for medical vacation with free oil money.

Why would anyone disagree with you that the Nigerian youths are uneducated? It's very obvious. That's why they don't even know their rights. They keep defending your ineptitude.

You enjoyed free education as a young man, but today the youths are deprived of basic education. You were a governor, a petroleum commissioner and ahead of states as a youth, but today, youths are on social media defending your failures.

Honestly, I agree with you that the Nigerian youths are lazy, that's why you ruled Nigeria as a youth and have also grabbed the job as an old man. The youths are too ignorant to even know the implication of your comments. They don't even know you and your fellow old men are doing jobs they should ordinarily be doing.

Sir, the most interesting aspect of this your truth is that you said it in a country where their government provides basic infrastructures, almost free education, free WiFi, free health care, almost free investment loans for their youths. While, in your own country, these lazy and uneducated youths, provide their own electricity, schools, security, roads, healthcare etc.. Yet, the indolent youths use their "free oil money" to buy mobile data to defend your ineptitude.

Sir, let me remind you that we have seen so many Nigerian youths who were almost useless in Nigeria, but when they cross over to the western world, they suddenly begin to excel in different fields of endeavor. What do you think is responsible for their positive output in the foreign land? Your guess is as good as mine, Sir- The difference is not farfetched. A responsible government plan for their youths and create enabling environment for the youths to be able to create wealth and contribute to National development. Can we say the same of your own country? Certainly Not! Instead, we have lazy, uneducated youths who would hang on telecommunication masts and electric cables to shout SAI BABA when you visit their states. I only wish they knew better.

Sir, Finally, let me ask you, Sir, apart from the free oil money we have been paying you since your days as a youth till date, what have you been able to make out for yourself on your own? Do you have thriving businesses that are providing employment for the Nigerian youths? Have you invented anything on your own? Sir, you can now see that this free oil money is what has kept you going for over 50 years. Perhaps this laziness is not limited to the youths alone, I guess some 75-year-old incompetent presidents are also lazy and love free oil money, that's why they want to remain in power till they are 80 years old. If we take away the free oil money we have been paying you and audit your life, are you sure you will have any worth, Sir?

I leave you to your conscience, Sir.

grin AND NOW LET US HEAR A STORY

Once upon a time, there was a lazy Nigerian youth, too lazy to pass his school certificate examinations. He grew up to become a lazy head of state, too lazy to plot even the coup that brought him to power. Whilst in power, he was too lazy to act on intelligence reports that a coup was afoot against his own government.

When he was kicked out of power, he was too lazy to develop his brains. It is said of him that there are more snow peaks on the sun, than sense in his head. So he spent 3 decades gazing at cows grazing in his rustic outpost, until providence granted him a second chance at redemption. All the while, he was living a lazy life of monotonous blandness, feeding fat on a generous state pension.

This man, who has spent all but one year of his useful adult life being fed by the state for being a convenient dolt, looked in the mirror yesterday and called the youths of his country, entitled lazy drifters.

This man seeks to be re-elected.

Does he deserve re-election?
