Please how true is this?

The bottom line in your post - desperate and unscrupulous Nigerians are the reason we have threads like this. You will never find a German or Swiss equivalent.

My dear nairalanders,
I applied for my first us visa in 2014 to have my first child. Denied.
Applied to have my second child this year in March (posted the transcript earlier). Denied again

So I decided to apply again for the visa. I took time to fill my ds-160. In the space where they asked have you been denied a us visa before. I said Yes, and explained several reasons to contradict why I thought I was denied. In the space for employment, I also described what I do in my company with plenty story

Lagos dates were not looking favourable so I decided to pick Abuja.

On top visa only God knows how much I have spent. Visa fee twice, flight ticket to Abuja, hotel in Abuja, taxi to move around. It is well.

My interview was scheduled for 7:30 am this morning. I'm sure my burden of proof was more than Phemas own sef.

@mamaiyanu

Hii, pls what exactly is d reason you gave for being denied in ds160. I am trying to give another form and looking for a genuine reason to give. My interview was yesterday, i posted my transcript. Pls kindly respond.

Na so i see am oh...i was soo sure of getting it too cos it went soo well and i studied his body language too while constantly asking God for grace. Been soo worked up since d denial, had to cry to let it out.lol

Cretaceous:

Hi Madam

Before I finished reading your transcripts, i already concluded that you got it. I was stunned to see that you got denied. Please, don't get yourself worked up and start blaming yourself. in my view, you did well. Just see this as one of the vicissitudes of life. I feel your pain. Cheer up

Madam ur post is wrong ...am just having my first child and it's my first us application ever...

Why did you answered that to have my first child in the USA instead of saying second child?? Is it your first or second child?? Because i can see you applied for my first us visa in 2014 to have my first child

Good afternoon house,

Urgent question that needs an urgent answer please.

Does it matter if a father is sponsoring a married woman as opposed to her husband for medical visa application?

Nah! My dad was my sponsor and I got the visa

Please house I am in a dilemma. My wife's appointment date with her doctor in USA is on the 23rd of July. I gave one agent money to get her interview date since March. He told me initially that he has gotten one. Later said its Abuja and since my wife specifically demanded Lagos that he cancelled it. I have not been around for while and don't have access to internet where I was. Now I called him and he said that they are working on it. I am fed up. Please anybody with any useful advice should share. Help a soul please. Thanks.

Huh? Aren't you already in the US?...and you don't have access to any internet? Seems very strange. undecided

Either way, I don't think the so-called agent is going to get any early date for US visa interview for your wife oh...You or your wife will have to do that on your own.

My dad was my sponsor and I did not get the visa.

Reason: not enough ties in Nigeria infact they did not even ask about money or who is sponsoring but asked about my husband

Hello Nairalanders,

Please I need help with these visa on arrival people.Sent the mail over 3weeks back and got the ‘received’ mail back and nothing else! I kept sending reminders and they even replied at a point that they have received my mails severally but they are yet to send me the confirmation to proceed and I only have a few days left! Can I go ahead with the received mail or what else can one do?

Am not sure they have the date readily available, i think they only monitor the page often to see if someone cancels appointment and closer date pops. I stand to be corrected and hoping it's true.

Thanks for the response. Please what exactly was asked about your husband? Making this decision on who to use is really putting me on edge. I wanted to use my father but an agent adviced against it- that it does not show I have a good relationship with my husband and may not come back to Nigeria. And also that they rarely give visa to those whose fathers are sponsors.

I think you should listen to your agent.

They asked where my husband works.

Hmmm I guess I’m the exception then, I was asked question about my husband to which I responded to. He then asked who’s sponsoring, I told him my dad but my husband and I also have some money saved aside, showed him my bank statement showing the saved sum and also my dad’s statement.
