What you see is what you get. Those who paid lips service to development for 16 good years are the first to call any current developmental stride propaganda. God know una address...

The Enugu - Onitsha express road is currently no where close to the picture you post claiming Buhari fixed it. Stop spreading falsehood! There is work going on, on just one lane and that one lane is not even up to 20% done. Those that ply that road can testify to it.

Bros break this English down...is that a river or a stream?

This dam is an earth dam whose primary source is runoff rain water from the surrounding areas and some disappearing streams , it reservoir volume was in the past used for dry season irrigation of of farms ..My concern is that I don't see how the Dam can get enough water to drive those turbines all year long

Technological projects with less than 25% input of materials and parts from our country is draining us. Sometimes only sand is supplied and cement is imported.
We need to begin to build our components and make more indigenous designs and fabrications to ensure smooth service delivery and cost effective maintenance.

But IPOB isn't an officially recognized tribe in Nigeria and other major world organizations... hence, they're all Miscreants.

It may be operated according to the quantity of water available. In the rainy season they can operate at full capacity while during the dry season they run at 50%.
Another solution will be water reticulation which means pumping back used water upstream but that will require a lot of power also to operate the suction pumps

I know that dam quite well and the only solution might just be this water reticulation you talk about but the problem is that that dam was primarily used for dry season farming irrigation in the past and so I don't know how this water reticulation will fit in

See this one talking... 10 mega watts would power abakaliki 2 times. Although abakaliki is a small town, that is still a considerable amount of power.

Am not impressed for two reasons:

1) Nigeria dun pass the level on 10MW, even a 100MW a month no cut am for me but its okay. For 10MW na manager suppose show not governor.

2) Hydro is not a good power source for Nigeria, a coal power plant with global warming in mind, gas turbines, and other serious sources not really solar are or is.

Make we dey strive to apply knowledge abeg. This is not a cause for celebration when we have to be deliberately and plan-fully carrying out our requirements as a country and region of Africa.
