Hello,

Many thanks for responding. Pls what hospital are u using in NY? Can u share details make I port if cheaper and within close proximity to my host grin

covbrand:
I used Emirate last year at 34 weeks and will use them to new York next month, they accept only a doctors fit to fly and you must have copies because you will keep presenting it at every stop.
When coming back the infant ticket is about 160 dollars or less, cant remember and you will be given a baby bassinet.

If you mean the poe at Dubai incase you are getting a hotel, I think emirate covers the visa fee into Dubai. I always got complimentary hotel accommodation on my return leg.

Yes the hotel was complimentary, and If your layover is short then there is no need for that or a visa because you wouldn't leave the Airport.

Am not using a hospital in NYC.

The news I was looking out for. and @chibertha sis I see you too. congrats.

The bottom line from these 2 submissions for me- it is really not about divine favor always but doing things right.
I have read submissions from them 2 way back on the thread and I just know you would get it right if you do things right.

Hello House,

I got my Visa for vacation 2016 and had my baby 2017. During my interview i did not declare my pregnancy as i wasnt asked and had not come across this thread before the interview. The agent who helped secure an interview date did not brief me either.
A friend referred me to this forum and i got to know about CHANGE OF INTENT letter which i sent before i traveled.

I was told to pay my bills at POE which i did also.

Presently, am planning to visit the US again with my baby this time but worried as i dont know what to expect at POE and also while renewing my Visa.

Please how do i go about this?

It's a sheet that has the cost of all you intend to spend in USD and it's naira equivalent in columns and totaled
E.g. item /cost (usd) /cost(ngn)
1. Dr' s fee / 100 / 36000
2.. hospital / 200 / 72000
Fee
Total / 300 /108000

You should apply for your Visa as soon as possible in case your Visa is not approved you, hopefully, have time to apply again.

For your visa you start now
The other question is like asking if you are the one to budget when you want to build a house.

Were you asked if you were pregnant and you said No?
Other than that, i think you shouldn't worry about any other thing. Just keep your zero balance receipts with you.

Hi Guys

Please I will like to seek your opinion on a matter.

I have been trying to conceive for about 4 years. I got pregnant this year and I am currently 18 weeks gone.

I applied for American Visa two days ago and get an interview date scheduled in September 24 (For Abuja In Fact). The sad thing is that I will be around 34 weeks by then which leaves with me about 1 week/ or less to prepare and leave Nigeria (and that is if I eventually get the visa).

I am a little worried that the fact that the travel date and the interview date are so close may reduce my chances of getting the visa. My plan is to ensure that everything I need is ready even before that interview date such that if I am granted the visa I can leave immediately without stress.

I have started speaking to a doctor and he has accept to treat and deliver me while I am there. Alternatively, is there a chance to get an earlier interview date?
