Osho baba should calm down. He is an activist and not a politician. His sense of judgement should not be clouded with vengeance and vendetta.

Okowa pls don't tell the *frog eye short pooh burnt black human chimpz* he forgot he has a pending corruption charges still waiting for him. Not too long to come Lara his baby doll called wife will run back to Cape Verde or being adopted by whoever cares to have a taste by the time he started sleeping in cell to answer his querries on corruption and state fund mismanagement.

It seems the APC got it right with Adams Oshiomole

agwom:
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has cautioned the new National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to exercise restraint in his utterances as they were capable of heating up the polity.

Reacting to alleged remarks by the new APC helmsman that his emergence marked the annihilation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and APC take-over of Delta State in 2019, Governor Okowa charged the former Edo State governor to be mindful of his political utterances.

Senator Okowa charged politicians to be cautious in the choice of words and be decent in their approach to issues as activities towards the 2019 general elections commence.

Okowa, who reacted to questions from journalists at the second 2018 media interaction stated that Nigerians should not be divided because of politics.

“I believe that Comrade Oshiomhole is playing politics just as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has a right to play politics as well as any other political party. The only advice I have for all politicians both in PDP and APC is that there must be decorum.

"We must be cautious in the language that we use as they should be decent and I believe that what politicians need to do is to address issues and when issues are addressed the people will make their choice.

"As politicians wherever you are, try to be civil in your approach to politics because that is the way it ought to be,” the governor said.

On the visit of a PDP presidential aspirant and former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on a consultation visit to Delta State, Governor Okowa said: “If you followed us properly when he (Alhaji Abubakar) addressed Deltans, it was obvious that he made a lot of statements which did interest our people and he did say that he is a friend of the state and if his programmes as he says continues to interest the people, I will not be able to hold back the hands of the people.

“I am not going to force any Deltan to vote the way I think; Deltans who will be delegates in the convention will be allowed to exercise their discretion to vote. I am not the kind of person who insists on how a person should vote.

"So, if on his programmes he talked about restructuring and the people are excited and they want to follow him, they have that right. So I made my statement and it was clear and cautious and when Sule Lamido came, he spoke so well and he is also a man I respect. He also has his followers in the state. He was well received and I made my comments. So it is my hope that all the presidential aspirants in the PDP will start to talk with each other because not all of them will get into the final stage,” he stated.

He continued: “As I spoke when Alhaji Abubakar came, I was very cautious and that is because, I do not want as a governor to say that this is the man I am supporting, I do not want to directly support any candidate and people will be given the room to make their choice. The will of the people will be allowed to prevail and not my will.”

Are there no other political parties in Nigeria? Apc think they have Nigeria at the palm of their hands, pdp itself is confused, not having a strong candidate. Who then will Nigerians vote. And speaking of which, while this okowa has failed in delta state, oshi omo ole himself with mouth diarrhea is not a saint either. A proverb says;every dog eat sh1t,but the one caught in the act is seen as the only one who eats sh1t.

How I wish this caution came earlier than this period, especially to FFK and Fayose. PDP now got their match in Osho.

Adams Oshiomole got the chairmanship seat with the hope that Delta state will be captured easily by APC using neighbouring Edo state as launch base as it is in military tactics but I tell you that all routes(not just roads) linking Edo state from Delta will be closed before and during election. Failed tactics.

I'm quite baffled that the highly revered Oshiomhole will be playing this sort of politics of blame, attacks and ineffectiveness. I expect contents and issues based politics geared towards reviving and revamping the Nigerian state. He should be properly guided for a redress.

Which igbos?

This trend of saying all successful states are as a result of igbos living there should stop.
Why can't the igbos make their own states industrious?

but im pretty sure most igbo states arent doing badly in refrence to the fact theres NO FEDERAL oresence plus a calculated attempt by fg to hold down the zone. Im 100% sure any othet zone that experiences what the east has been yhroigh will be stone age like

for a start when it comes to education thenonly reasob you keep seeing delta as top three is cos of those nwafors(tho some deny their lineage)there.
Most of the delta sons that achieve great fits on a federal level and internationally are mostly aniomas. The only 7 star hotel is odogwu. The ojeis, the ijeis, okogwus, etc. Also stop comparing lagos to delta. Lagos was once a capital for over 50yrs with most infrastructures there developed with oil from delta state. So bros calm down..

Jew man dey talk shooting.... delta state ie the core oil producing communities keep looking for handouts(the youths...lil wonder ibori is celebrated) asides the itsekiri whom are truly hated cos theyre more educated than the izon and urhobo counterparts. Delta north is still most educated. Ive lived on ajamoga in warri. Trust me i know tht state.

Considering the way the Urhobos and many ordinary Deltans on the streets have always lined up behind Ogboru in past elections, having in mind the kind of results he's managed to pull even when running under uninfluential parties, with Ogboru finally getting sense by joining a bigger party, if he manages to clinch APC's ticket, coupled with the support of some APC money-miss-road guys in Delta like the Akulagba (Ayiri) and co, Okowa might be in for a battle in 2019 with or without Ibori.

In that part of the country, money is the main thing needed to win elections, the only reason Uduaghan was declared winner by the courts in 2007 and 2011 was because Ogboru was a poor man mingling with a poor crowd (weak political parties). Ibori may be influential and highly respected, but the times have passed him behind in terms of physical cash; he's currently not as financially influential as even some small money-miss-roads in the state, and money is definitely needed to win elections in Delta state.
