Look I don't agree with the politics and policies of the ruling party, but it is becoming scary the way people peddle false news simply because they hate the govt, or because they want to follow the hate trend.

I am going to use WhatsApp and Facebook as an example. U will be minding ur business and b4 u know it, someone is broadcasting a fake story of how herdsmen are stopping and killing travellers on so so highway. They will post this unconfirmed story to various groups.

If we are not careful, we will have a Rwanda situation on our hands soonest. People are heating up the polity for the fun of it, and we must all condemn this ugly trend.

The fact that herdsmen are presently on a killing spree shouldn't be a yardstick 4 fabricating and circulating false stories about herdsmen killing travellers or villagers simply 4 the fun of it.

He that has ears, let him hear what dis bloody civilian is saying.

Social media is a blessing to our generation. Imagine how people are being slaughtered and swept under carpet without social media exposing them.
What happened in Rwanda was a case of some tribes feeling superior and humiliating others, A typical of what we have in Nigeria currently. Remember the Civil war is a wound that will never heal. One day, the weaker ones will rise to take what belongs to them by force.
This Government taught many Nigerians how to use social media to attack those in power. So they should enjoy the polity.

They way some of you closet jihadist want to turn around and leave those doing the actual killing and blame those reporting the killings for planning to set the country on fire is mind boggling ... I know you would rather people keep quiet and allow the jihadist do their work with peace of mind as the conquer one community to another... As for your warning not to set the country on fire just know that over 20,000 thousand have died needlessly under the current govt in just 3 years so My friend The Country Is Already On Fire ask those who have been victims

If the unity of your geographical expression called nigeria is dependent on what is said on social media then it doesn't really deserve to exist in the first place. Divide the fake country and have peace.

Social media is used all over the world including much diverse USA and if nigeria's existence is the only one being threatened by civilization and liberalization of the internet then it a false and a fake country which must be allowed to die a natural death so that it's constituent parts can survive. Nigeria will NEVER exist forever, stop postponing the date with posterity.

God bless the social media.

Why will terrorist not hate social media? It exposes them. They prefer a situation where massacre/genocide are committed in secret and unreported in the media.
Bloody terrorist.

Bro my leanings have always been with PDP.

I am just raising an alarm about the rate @ which people are passing round fake info that can one day throw this nation into war.

Whenever the Fulani murderers strikes, the mainstream media always captures it.

But it is a dangerous trend 4 people to begin to cook up stories and circulate them on social media.

This is beyond party politics. War is looming, and social media is fueling dis avoidable war...
