It's about Benz, I have 190benz that is taking a toll on my pocket on the aspect of fuel consumption, a mistake was made by tampering with the injector, that is wrong mechanic I mean,

Now several people have suggested I should convert it volks caburator,
Pls is it a good idea?
What is the disadvantage in future?
What are the things I should consider?
Have any seen it?

Where can I locate a good mech in PH who can handle the converting?

What's the VIN of the benz? Do not convert!!!!. The 190 is OBD1 compliant. Have you tried scanning and are there any fault codes?

I asked for the VIN to know the exact type of 190 we are dealing with here. It's the chassis number located on the driver side door. OBD simply means on board diagnostics. The most common one the OBD 2 is a general universal standard in cars from 1996 but before that there was OBD 1 of which Mercedes cars had from 1989 to 1995. For the 190, It's an 8 pin port near the battery, you can use a multimeter with a dwell function to get the codes.

Who according to your description the effect of variant part or code is that the car won't transmit up to the last gear and mostly applicable to automatics and 190E

But it works perfectly well without bad effect on the older models, manual trans and carburator,
