LUNAR ECLIPSE

On Friday, 27th July 2018 the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century will take place, Insha’Allah.

The eclipse starts at 7:24pm and will end at 11:19pm (Nigeria time). Total eclipse will take place from 8.30pm until 10.13pm in Nigeria

The eclipse will be visible over most parts of Africa, Europe, the Middle East and East Asia.

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam has stated in regards to Solar and Lunar eclipses:

“Verily the sun and moon are signs from amongst the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse due to the death of anyone, nor the birth of anyone. When you see them in eclipse, then hasten towards Salaah.” (Bukhari)

The following acts should be carried out at the time of an Lunar eclipse:

Abundance of good deeds

Dua, Tasbeeh and Zikr


Taubah (repenting for one’s sins)


Istighfaar (seeking Allah’s forgiveness)

Salaatul Khusoof


May Allah grant us the ability to revive this Sunnah in our lives, Ameen.

OK its alright that different cultures have their beliefs but I find it funny that you are enslaved to that of the Arabs. If you must hold any ethnic belief, why not yours? Well I'm not surprised since you are black, you have no pride on your ancestry if you have any at all.

The blacks are divided fighting for the Jewish or the Arab version, meanwhile science which is universal has clearly explained this phenomenon. what a shame to a race ....

let me clear dis first....Arabs have dia culture nd d fact dat islam originates from dia doesn't make islam an arab culture
moreso, coz d prophet is an arab doesn't mean he is sent to arab alone......he is sent to d entire world either arab,black or whites
lastly, my belief is not traditional or dat of arab rather its islam (islam is not d tradition of arab coz de have dia lifestyle b4 d prophet came....nd he only condemned d bad ones in d culture such as slavery, burying of female child alive etc)....so if dia are some of my culture dat goes well with islam why wont i observe dem

So the almighty chose to send his prophet through the Arabs to save the entire world. Why is there no black prophet in your Koran? Why is there no Yoruba or ibo name in your Koran. You speak this way because you have been enslaved beyond repair. You can save your children from this.

You have your own gods, sell them to the world as the Arabs did to theirs.
Call your own lands holy lands and write your books and call them Holy Books. But it's not a must to stick to old gods who are meaningless to us. You can go with the train of modernisation and fill your head with practical things to make the world a better place.

Until the then, you will continue to remain slaves to the Arabs and Jews from generation to generaton.
