Twitter user starts debate after she discovered her clothes vendor who claims she buys from Turkey actually sews in Yaba

A Twitter user was shocked to find that the Instagram clothes vendor she buys work clothes from at an expensive price actually buys and sews in Yaba for less than 1, 500 Naira. and her tweet narrating the incident has led to a debate.



@TounBash said the IG vendor sells clothes for at least 15,000 Naira and claims they are imported from Turkey. An incident led to Toun going to Yaba market to make clothes and, coincidentally, she found out the tailor was making clothes in bulk for the same Instagram vendor who claims she buys from Turkey.



Some social media users have argued that the vendor did nothing wrong because business is all about packaging and making gains. But some have said the vendor shouldn't have lied that she buys from Turkey when her merchandise is from Nigeria.

Most of these IG vendors purchase their wares at Balogun dat y when they deliver goods, it would be totally different from the picture u were shown before purchase.

Don't blame her, she was just smart. This is what we call entrepreneurship, the lady doing all the work (tailor) earns just 1500 while the seller makes over 10,000, work smart not hard. That's a lesson we should all learn.

There is the popular northern lady that has made a fortune from selling those concoction sold by Hausa by packaging it, can't remember her name.

Would you have agreed on the price if she told you it was made in yaba... Would you have held the products in high esteem if she had told you it was made by her yaba tailor... Turkey made it so tempting

They can't compare a boutique in Allen avenue to sell at the same rate, tailor in yaba market will sell.

For crying out, the shop in Allen avenues are damned expensive. And not everyone like to sell their wares in not so fine and over crowded areas.
