I am pained because despite these killings, Buhari feels he still deserves a second chance. He has failed absolutely and so has the Minister for Interior and the IG of Police.

Those blaming the President for this are funny. The last time I checked the state has a Governor who is the Chief Security Officer of the State therefore he isn't absolved of the security issues of the state.Lastly those in Plateau, Benue and other states alike should step up and stop being cowards knowing fully well that the government of the day cannot assure them the desired security they need.

My brother the governor has no power. The governor can not control the security heads on states due to our political structure..

That chief security officer is just for title sake. He can't command a commissioner of police to go if no order from abuja for him to go bro..

Remember his security aids can be withdrawn from abuja anytime..

As much as every death is regrettable, most of the people you see on Nairaland are pretenders and have no real interest in the life of anyone.

I had to go back to search the said address on Google and some of the suggestions made me to know that 4, and another set of 2 Fulani people had been killed in that axis a few days ago.

Nobody cares about the Fulani that died.
Barely reported.

Nobody tried to make peace between both parties before it gets out of hand.

But once it's the Fulani that strikes whether in vengeance or as instigators, they are condemned.

Nigerians must stand up and tell the truth on this matter otherwise they would simply be fueling the crisis.

May their souls rest in peace but there must be a genuine attempt to end it.

I'm sure you are not illiterate.

Once you carry a biased mind into a subject it is difficult to be objective.

Tell em.

The way sitting government is handling electioneering matters in Nigeria is telling me that we are hopeless.

The woes might still be around for a long time.
Nigerian youths especially should wise up, our future is getting continuously mortgaged!

Some myopic people still support them even though
- price of everything skyrockets 3x
- fuel price was N85 at handling over, it shot up to N145 (even after subsidy removal).
- Minimum wage remained the same (and salary is hanging) in spite of the first two points above.
- Propaganda, excuses and name calling is what we get after 3.5years.
- No specific project can be said to have a successful ending

-And fulani herdsmen is killing ceaselessly too.

Are we not doomed if all these continue past 2019?

What must we do as YOUTHS? How do we rise up to say NO MORE .I have been asking but we seem too afraid

What do I tell you?

As far as I'm concerned both parties are guilty.

Evidence on the internet from just a few days ago, shows that the Fulani had recently been killed in cold blood.

Whether it was an extension of a previous matter one can only guess, except of course you are somehow in the know.

For there to be peace, you as an outsider must remain neutral with the aim of reconciling both parties.

All other talks is meaningless to me.

With the level of poverty in the hand it is almost impossible to not get swayed by the money slinging politicians during elections.

We need someone fresh and technocratic to support we all of our hearts. A breather of fresh air.

Funny enough, people will start castigating based on 'inexperience' even though the old cargoes have nothing to offer.

Buhari why unnecessary mass burial always in your system. Please, we are tired of this, if you can't tackle it kindly vacate that seat for another competent person to occupy. Thank you for complying.

so in your mind you made sense?

who control the army police and other security agencies?

the last time I remained the IG of police issue a directive that anybody with fire arm be it even bow and arrow should surrender it.

not even 1 state governor could counter the directive.

so answer yourself are governor truly the Chief Security Officer of their state.

bros does state governors control the police?
army?
navy?
airforce?
the only outfit they control is the local vigilante group that's why we ve been clamoring for state policing, atleast all this killings would be limited as state governors would be effective in protecting lifes and properties under their jurisdiction.
buhari should be held accountable sir
