You really don't want to go that route. Stop comparing Camry with the C klasse. Common man come and measure up to the E klasse if you can dare!!
the same would have happened to even an s klasse if it has it's intake at bumber level

How were you duped, though? I'm not exactly a fan of diesels and I assumed you got one because of its torque.

Tbh, diesels are preferred in Europe. Sending you one without telling you first is pretty shady, though.

Oh, well, harm's done. Why not go Japanese this time around? Join the G35 gang. cheesy

G37 would be even better but it requires (not recommends) premium fuel. No luck with that here.

But Benz also requires premium fuel and that's the brand he's been using.

Manageable with use of regular fuel treatment. That's what we do in my family.

What type of fuel treatment if i may ask? Also, is fuel treatment better when compared to octane boosters?

You're comparing a performance car to an executive one. The 3.7L VQ is unforgiving of regular fuel, you'll immediately get a drop on performance and efficiency the moment you use regular. Probably will get pings too.

Non-AMG Mercedes are a lot more tolerant. Try putting regular in an AMG, see the difference.

A solution, I suppose.

I have a C class too.

However, this gentle man has spent a fortune on benz and i think he deserves some peace and rest for a while before venturing into Benz again.

He should just do an Infiniti as suggested or Acura/Honda if he hates Toyota.

Please don't start. I was trying to avoid going towards this direction. Very slippery slope and before you know it we're at the whole Toyota vs German argument again, which is honestly just tiring at this point.
