Thanks for your response. I received Natural Justice response from the department for not declaring I had a history of visa refusal with Canada. The case officer wants me to comment on it. I need ideas because this is critical. Please, if u can advice on what to do/say in response. Thanks

Amen. I don't have access to that email now but ask here so everyone may learn. If I don't have answers, I'm sure others may help.

This is not good !!!!.... there's no good way to respond to this, absolutely none. I also have a history of visa refusal but I had no choice but to declare it after seeing alot of cases on this platform...

Can we say oversight??...Honestly, this might have affected the credibility of your app... I wish you asked questions before filling that visa app form.

Let's hope for the best...

Let's start with your reasons for not declaring.
Did you handle your application yourself or through an agent?
If you handled it yourself, may I ask why you didn't declare the refusal?
If through an agent, I'm wondering if you could blame the agent. However, note that once you blame your agent, there could be a plot twist and your VO may deem your agent incompetent and negligent. Consequently, it may be deemed that all the information contained in your application are questionable and the result will be an immediate refusal.

Good morning house. Please who has processed University of Wollongong admission recently. Help me attend to the following questions.

1. Apart from the two options stated on the admission offer letter, by what other means can I make payment of the tuition deposit.

2. Do I need to send any financial evidence to the school in order to get a coe?

3. For visa application, can I use a bank comfort letter from my sponsor showing the closing balance in place of statement of account?

4. My sponsor is not willing to provide business registration documents or tax documents due the legislations in the country where he resides. Can I do without these when applying for visa?

I anxiously look forward to your responses fam. I need them urgently.

Please what agency did you use?
Did you declare the refusal to your agent before applying? If you did, what's your agent's reason for not declaring? Ask him/her

You could say oversight of your agent but like I said earlier, that route is dicey.
I heard of a lady in a similar situation that claimed she didn't see the question properly when filling the forms because of her terrible eye problems which she had previously indicated. She also attached medical reports for glaucoma from different govt hospitals in different years. Her application was successful and she was granted.
The important factor is that there's a prima facie intent to deceive in the eye of the VO and you must work to rebut that impression.

Please people, before you hire an agent, do your due diligence. Ask questions. Ask for referrals from their successful applicants. Most importantly, don't rely entirely on your agent. Follow the processes yourself. Monitor your agents. Demand the best service. Do some research too to be knowledgeable about everything. Demand that they don't submit anything without your approval. Go through everything, every time.

No need for an agent then. The thing is people only have eye problems seeing those visa denial questions. Say yes if it is yes because the 5eyed countries share info but we won't listen.

Good morning all, please I’m new here. I want to study graduate nursing entry in Australia, though I already have BSC accounting and post-graduate diploma in education. However I was told that I can travel with my children and husband if I’m able to get student visa. Please how true is this and is there any other thing I need to know in this regard. I have already written IELTS exams and my husband will be my sponsor.

Please I need your advice

Hello Dubyz. I will advise you to go for education, since you're already in that field. Nursing and education are two different professions. Visa grant is slim. Also, its better for you to apply first, then your hubby and kids can join you as subsequent entrants.

I was told that with graduate entry nursing I will have 2years post study visa that will enable me to work. My husband won’t be joining fully rather he will be visiting us since he has a steady job here. Then my kids are still too small to be left behind. They are 3 and 2 years

Please anybody with good info about the above issues should respond to it. It is very urgent.

Also, since I have gotten an admission offer, is there any need for an agent in applying for visa? My agent is demanding documents I can't provide and which I feel are not necessary. So i am planning to do the visa application myself. Any danger in this?

Truth is that going to study in Australia is just a path to permanent residency and not a guarantee. What's important is that you study for 2 years and that would enable you get post study visa of 18 months I think. Go and check the skill occupation list to see if the profession your course leads to, is on the list.
There are other factors that are considered when it comes to permanent residency. Studying and post study work only boost one's chances. You have a lot of reading to do.
Note: Australia is always making changes to the occupation list and migration policies

Worst moments my agent declared to the school that I had not been denied without notifying me, had an interview I needed to request for a copy of my application and I got discover it was declared no, I was asked to play along but I was scared of the unknown future repercussions, I needed to come plain, after the interview funny enough I came plain and I was denied because of my previous denial, now I feel bad because of alot of resources have been put in place for that purpose, now I have to start from the scratch. Please I need the list of school that accepts student with visa refusals.

Based on my personal opinion and what have seen, it will be hard for you to get a visa for graduate nursing entry level due to your initial degree but not impossible. Have meet two people with similar case like yours but they came in with the intention of studying Masters relating to their fields and after their first semester, they switch to graduate nursing thereby forfeiting the first semester fees, you may consider that if you have enough money to throw around and secondly YES you can travel with your family if you include them while applying for visa.

You will be eligible for post study work visa upon completing your studies but sincerely you have to plan very well, coming here with kids won't give you the opportunity to combine studies, working and taking care of your kids together unless you have an external strong financial backing that is the only way you have it easy.
