Players port like sim cards in Nigeria while owners are stuck with incredible debts and bad credit profile that affect other business interests. If the business cannot be salvaged, it is either sold or the franchise moves to another city. Do you know how many jobs will be lost if that happens? Do you know the impact stuff like that has on the host community and state in general? You see it on one level, owners see it on so many other levels. Those lost jobs are not porting with Butler if the Timberwolves franchise fails.
