The furore over who will fly the flag for the 2019 governorship election for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state have been put to rest following the submission of the name of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the governorship candidate of the party for the election.

Already the news is creating tension in the state.
Impeccable source close to the party in the state confided in Daily Trust that the party accepted the results of the Ahmed Ahmed Gulak committee, which declared Uzodinma winner of the October 1 primaries in preference to October 6 rescheduled election held by the Ibrahim Agbabiaka panel that declared Uche Nwosu as winner.
