It is dangerous to visit Nigeria with a foreign mentality let alone making trouble with that mentality and expecting a foreign style redress.
I have lived in a west African country and I understand the situation. first of, you can't compare the traffic laws and law enforcement systems.
You just have to bear with our style here.

Nigerian lawyers are quacks.
They believe law is all about being a talkative, noise maker and trouble maker. Nigerian lawyers are one set of annoying citizens.

Trust me, if the woman were driving the Prado SUV and the other man, Mercedes C class, the case would have been in favour of the woman.

well, that is one side of the story... since we don't know the other side yet then we will subject your story to standard scrutiny!

1. How much did you insult him, his father, mother and ancestry?
2. Did you "Jack" his collar or not?
3. Did you show every one else there that "you are a lawyer"?
4. why should you lay your hands on him to take his wallet? even a man cannot try such!
5. Did he slap you after the insult and stealing his wallet or before doing all that?

we know women na, no be today

This country is unsafe for females, I've been saying this over and over again. If something happens to you as a woman you can be sure the multitude of men here will take their fellow's side. Our country is overpopulated with men, some of them are foreigners from Chad, Niger, Togo, Benin, Cameroon and Ghana, capitalizing on our patrilineal society, also seeking greener pastures. They usually carry out their frustration on innocent females, it's terrible. Women should endeavor to leave this country for good

Nigerian women never get tired of playing the victim-card?
Why is she trying to whip up feminist sentiments?
The police have rightly told her this is a no-issue.
But if she wants NwaAmaikpe's judgement, here it is;

1). She was wrong for confronting the driver of a Toyota Prado SUV who merely scratched her rickety C-class.
You have to give honour to whom honour is due on the streets.

2). She was wrong to go over to him and seize his phone and go as far as taking his wallet. That is theft.

3). She was wrong to even obstruct traffic on a major bridge because her car was hit. That was a selfish decision and ultimately a violation of the traffic code.

4). She was wrong to be carrying such potentially dangerous fingernails. A good lawyer could proof that those nails are weapons capable of inflicting bodily harm.

Lastly;
5). She was wrong to bring this matter to social media. If she wants redress, she should visit a competent court of law.

If Nigeria was really a country, a woman who is not even a citizen won't dare challenge a man on the street and obstruct traffic.
Besides, she won't be able to even tweet this because she'd be in a police cell for driving a car without plate numbers.

You raised some issues however most lacked merits. The only one, that has merit is number 5, let her visit a competent court of law for redress. On that alone, I give judgment on your favour. Court.

I'm happy she stood up for her right. D guy slapped her. She's a lawyer and knows what she could have done.and claimed it was self defense. There's nothing in her narration that showed she blew it out of proportion.

This is a normal thing in Nigeria
Sorry for what you passed through but blaming this entirely on sexism is just not right. This happens to random people on a daily basis on the road. Men against men, men against women, women against women and women against men.
As a driver, there are times I scratch people's car, I just come down and beg but sometimes I won't (claiming rights that don't exist). Many times that all these keke drivers had hit my car--these guys instead of apologizing, will rather be insulting me (I'm a guy) though some of them apologize.

This is Nigeria. I don't think we give that much attention to sexism.
By the way, this lady is very rude from the way she talka

I love women, I de support their matter...but this one!!!

First, when there is a bash, why would you get in your car and wind up your windshield...even when the other party is talking to you?

It simply states that you were the one at fault cos standard Lagos behavior, when you get hit you’re usually the one to come down first and attack the other not sit back and chill!!

So if you got hit in the face, you caused the aggravation!!

All in all, no matter what happens NEVER lay your hands on a woman!!

Judging by what i can see IN THIS PICTURE, the benz driver is wrong. The SUV apparently didnt fly to get ahead of the ben, I assume the SUV driver "proved smart" and the Benz driver was'nt having it.

N.B Sexes of the driver is secondary to me

Just look at those fake fingers of her....the only message they pass is that she is a very dirty woman especially from her thumb

Secondly, the blood on the middle finger signify she had just used it in pleasuring her pusxsy.

First to call police no dey win case sha.......Let's look at it from this angle , the driver assumed you hit him , because you were behind, then he got down and started yelling at you, because he's just an ordinary driver , and his oga would sanction him for the scratch if not sacking him self ... you claimed to have your car whined up , how did the slap got to you in the first place ... you whined down , and was exchanging violent words with him , he got angry and wanted to fight ..it's both their fault .. if the guy hadn't touched her and called police on her first, this story would be very different ..., but the guy is at fault for slapping her if he ever did ...

This is a massive load of hogwash.

It doesn't take exceptional wisdom to determine that this tart is at fault. There's no doubt she is vile, foul-mouthed, and odious as most of her ilk are.

A so-called 'lawyer' brandishing her international background and exposure and yet her English is so disgraceful? Besides, her narration is full of inanity and misplaced self-importance.

Someone bring her to me. She deserves a proper face disfiguring slap.
