What’s up people from around the world, my name is ‘DRABEEY’ and i am a ‘Lagosian’ Whaohoo! That is what we love to call ourselves over here.

Lagos is a city very close to the Atlantic shores of Africa’s most populous black country, Nigeria.
Lagos was once the capital of Nigeria and was actually a seat for the colonial masters (Britain). Now you see what saying, Lagos has every touch of wonderful histories that defined the whole of Africa today< not to even say Lagos was a meeting point for slave trade.
Good, rich and fantastic sights are just what you wont trade for anything. Is it the rich culture of Africa in a whole, come to Lagos and feel the breath of God!
It is however a little wonder that people troops from every part of the world to observe cultural festivals in the state.
Maybe we should start from the Eeyo festival, where the masquerade is dressed in full while regalia, simple telling you the state is full of peace and loving people. A lot of fantastic festivals abode in Lagos, we also have the Oko shi (in the riverine areas), kayoKayo and Ita Oba and so on.
Have you been to the computer village? You see, that small world created inside Lagos, Ikeja is one of biggest Technology Market in Africa and that is a lot! Not to even talk about the offices of great and notable companies using this ‘state of excellence’ as its headquarters.
My esteem reader, see you might not listen to anything I had said earlier but please i beg of you, never forget to visit Lagos beaches, ohlalaa! they are God’s own paradise. ranging from the Elegushi, the historic Bar Beach, the Kuramo, and of course Eleko beach. I would personally introduce you to God for an everlasting blessing!
The last time i visited a friend in one of Nigeria neighboring country, he opened up a secret he had always kept from me since the day he visited me at home. He said “that your Lagos na waa ooo, security officers just full everywhere, you must see at least two patrol vehicles pass every 5 minutes. It is only to tell you how serious the state government values the life of its residents!
My God, i’ve you been to the Eko Atlantic, Banana island? Jesus christ, you wouldn't have believed you are still standing on African soil.
Did you know that Eko Atlantic project costs ‘more than $6 Billion.
Lagos is one of Nigeria’s oil producing state! That is one of the numerous reasons why local and foreign businesses thrives more in the state full of cultural diversity.
Good food and recreational spots couldn't be more better. Lagos has it all. Call a transport company and you are where you want. Oh is it the fast food, all you need is to make the call and it is at your doorstep.
Lagos, home to various Nigerian artistes and prominent people.
What kind of food are you looking for, Continental or African dishes? Oriental, just name it, you find all in Lagos.
Lagos been a fantastic place to visit for your next holiday isn't to mean you aint going to be entertained by various slangs emanating from locals in the city…. “mi o ni change laro yi o’ ( i don't have change this morning…lol) whenever you hear anything like this, just remember you are about to get entertained with the mild drama that would soon ensued between a conductor and passenger.
Lagos is such a place everyone wants to visit, it is just like that and those who have visited wants to share a story about why you too should visit Lagos, but the question is “Do you know Lagos?”

Actually Lagos is ok - the most eclectic and exciting city in Africa. But they should come up with a better garbage disposal system.

U r right. Lagos has great potential but it's far from there yet. Another problem is transportation - they should have put it underground from the begining like NYC's subway trains. Now, I don't see how it can ever get better

Terrible things everywhere.
I saw a place when I was coming, it was like a large compound without any gates. Towards the left of where the gates was meant to be, there was lots of garbage. I was shocked at the amount there, then I saw a broken gate resting on the garbage with a poster of you to vote for one person.
I just shook my head, this is Lagos.
