this is what royalty means

first picture

Prince Charles visit Ghana monarch in his Palace and the monarch was proudly sitting on his throne while the British Prince was sitting on the ordinary seat for the subjects

second picture

our Monarchs ran to Abuja to meet the Prince and was sitting like the Prince was ruling them in their own country.

to me i see class pride and real monarch in the Ghana picture

what's your opinion

Ghana is a country while Nigeria is a shithole.

Nothing to compare, Nigeria is bigger, more versatile and more experienced in the matters of both British and general Monarchy.

The queen recognizes non of them at all.
Our traditional rulers are all slaves to the British throne.

That's what I'd have typed if I had no sense but I do.

In Nigeria, we have some many important traditional rulers unlike Ghana where the Ashanti empire represents supremacy. So Prince Charles clearly wouldn't be able to visit each one in their Royal Palace like he did in Ghana.
lmao u must be high on cheap weed. The British crown recognises a lot of Nigerian monarchs

The next leader of common wealth states (which controls at least 1,/3 of world trade) visited us, yet our concern is about who visited who, who has the best jellof rice and royal logistics rather than find a trade arrangement to lift us out of unemployment and extreme poverty

Most annoying thing is that, its the unemployed fools cum bloggers that notice all these rubbish...

You try... but Great Britain doesn't control 1/3 of the world's trade.

And the British monarch does not hold that kind of power over Government trade agreement.

When you look at things from an emotional point of view then u have an inherent problem of Seeing everything suspicious.

The Duke visited only one king in Ghana, while in Nigeria the Council.of Traditional Rulers were invited to meet with the Duke. First it Was sitting arrangement that was the problem. If he had visited the Sultan of Sokoto only, no be Islamization agenda una go de complain about.

Better change ur ways

Since England once conquered and ruled Nigeria, any traditional ruler could fly to Abuja to pledge loyalty. I don't think it should call for bashing

What a country we find ourselves!. Nigerians will never appreciate anything of their own. Ask the Prince himself and you will know which of the cultures he loves most and besides that was only the picture OP put up here. Even if the scenarios was the other way round, you will still here Nigerians saying "He was welcomed by many traditional rulers in Ghana and was taken to only one in Nigeria.
A shithole country indeed!

With all respect and humility, the Obi of Onitsha was supposed to be sitting behind the Oba of Benin who was behind the Ooni of Ife.

The British Embassy Officials were just being “Polite”.
Actually, there is no significance attached to the positions where the monarchs were sitting for the photo. But since your oni was on the front row, I understand your attempt to exploit that. I guess if your oni were in the back you would be saying that those in the front were kissing charle's ass. Your oni remains a product of the British. And in case you really don't get this, these are monarchs of different kingdoms ! Only Yoruba stupidity makes you "rank" kings of different kingdoms ! It makes no fucking sense !

There is only one Oba and he lives in Benin City.

Actually, Benin Kingdom is older than your ife and getbthis: Benin City is the capital of Benin Kingdom.

And this

I am tired of how the Yoruba just put efforts into bastardising the title of the Emperor of Benin empire. Each Yoruba village head is now calling himself Oba. The likes of the ooni and the alafin have already given up their own titles and have attached the word Oba to their names.

this

prolog2:

you yorubas are so desperate to have a history that you will forever keep trying to claim and still that of other people.
What a pity. I believe your history lays in brazil.

And this

prolog2:
Story, story, people will keep trying to derive glory for themselves by claiming to be superior to Benin. Benin doesn't need to claim anything because Benin is authentic. Waiting for the next story. The best doesn't need to derive recognition from claiming to be better than the second best, the second best needs to claim to be better than the best in order to gain fake glory.

And this

There is only one Oba indeed, his title is Oba, Yoruba chiefs copied it in the colonial era.

I can claim that england is better than Greece, but I can not claim that the king of england is superior to that of Greece. You Nigerians are mentally ill. I am tired of always having to explain obvious things to you.
Also one thing you Nigerians never seem to understand is the difference between a village , a city and a kingdom. You guys think each village head is a king, you don't seem to understand that there are titled men whom are not kings. You don't understand that several cities and villages could be contained in the same kingdom. You dont get the fact that a kingdom is a country and it has its capital. These are things children are supposed to know, yet nigerian adults cant handle it.

Yeah, you are only the second Yoruba today to promote the "work" of that yorubacentric Edo who defended the claims of Yoruba supremacists in his "work". How come you guys are always trying to dupe others and your methods are very infantile. Actually you guys just do that same stuff all the time. Normally I try my best to ignor stupidity but in this case I will make an exception for posterity sake. Now LISTEN CAREFULLY

The oba of benin is far & above the oni of ife. If you must compare him with any yoruba kings it should be the Alafin of oyo not the oni who's stool never attained the status of an empire & traditional is just a priest who the british later coined to become a king. The kingdom of ife originates from benin. If you want to argue go ask ODUDUWA or any of your truthful Elders. That being said the BENIN EMPIRE in all its regin & glory never imposed its tradition & language on its subjects rather free will & kindness was always the order of the day. All that was needed was for the fallen kingdom in quote must become subservient & pay the require royalty to the CAPITAL & its KING. this mistake made the benin language to be exclusive to the benin people & not the entire empire. This is was diminished the benins after the fall of their empire & of course in todays nigeria, priority is given to major tribes based on their population & the number of states they occupy & as you know it comprises of the fortunate yorubas. This favours the oni much more than the oba. Then again what you are seeing are the first class kings in mordern day Nigeria & they are as well representing their geo political zones of which the oba is from the south south & the oni from the south west. For the avoidance of doubts there is body of NIGERIA TRADITIONAL RULERS & in this body again by the standards I have explained the Sultan of Sokoto & the Oni of Ife are the Co chairmen while the OBA of BENIN is the SECRETARY. All this are facts which can be easily verified if you are willing to know the truth but if you are still confused by their sitting arrangements then I bid you GOODBYE.... & GOOD RADIANCE. ....

Nigeria as a country is inferior to other nations.
We're being compared to failed states like Somalia and South Sudan in education.
What else needs to be proven? Kindly get some knowledge
