I don't know about this Twitter guy but, if my father was just a mere Warrant officer in the Nigerian army, I'd be ashamed to show him off. A part of me will even be happy that Boko Haram took him with them.

Pls make it clear if it is Niger State or Niger Republic.?

It was in Niger Republic.
See the full report quoted below:

"Boko Haram gunmen have kidnapped 15 girls overnight in a village near Toumour, southeastern Niger, the local mayor said on Saturday.

"According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Boukar Mani Orthe, the mayor of the town in Niger’s Diffa region near the border with Nigeria, said about 50 unidentified armed men seized the girls in a village about nine kilometres from the town centre.

"Kidnapping of schoolgirls has been a Boko Haram horror mark, since its fighters in 2014 kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls in Chibok, Borno State, in Nigeria.

"It also staged this year, another major kidnap of schoolgirls in Dapchi, Yobe state.
In Mali, French forces said they “put out of action” some 30 Islamist militants, possibly including veteran Malian jihadist leader Amadou Koufa, during a raid in the central Mali region of Mopti.

"The French army, which has about 4,500 troops in West Africa battling Islamist militants, did not specify whether the jihadists had all been killed or taken prisoner. The operation took place with air support on Thursday night, it said."

It is a well known fact that the Islamic sects Boko Haram is calling for an Islamic state in northern Nigeria.

The way and manner they go about this their pursuit is another different ball game entirely.

Given the huge financial budget this crisis has caused Nigeria coupled with the wanton losses of human lives mostly in the north eastern states of Yobe, Borno, Adamawa etc

The way forward is for the federal government to start talks with Boko haram with a view to attaining a peaceful settlement of the crisis.

The federal government of Nigeria must carefully listen to the demand of the Boko Haram sects which is nothing short of RESTRUCTURING.

Under a United Nation sponsored peaceful settlement deal the federal government of Nigeria must hold talks with Leaders of the Boko Haram sects.

The federal government must throw away the age long popular General Yakubu Gowon slogan that Nigeria is indivisible and not negotiable. This statement that is coming from former head of state is setting Nigeria backward.

Nigeria is DIVISIBLE and NEGOTIABLE if that is the popular will of the people living in a particular community or state.

This wrong doctrine which General Yakubu Gowon injected to the brains of President Muhammadu Buhari especially during their military days as young officers must be buried for a modern country to emerge.

Although General Gowon is yet to change from his One Nigeria sermon. I think he has no choice than to change it for RESTRUCTURING of Nigeria.

We can not afford to waste the little money coming from our crude oil sales on a senseless war. Human lives is also being lost in the crisis with huge number of Internally Displaced Persons that is worst than the Nigeria/ Biafra civil war of 1967 - 1970

Nigeria is bleeding to death with large scale human suffering despite over 50 years of crude oil exploration in the Niger delta region.

Our politician both military and civilians looted our crude oil wealth leaving misery, poverty, pains youth unemployment. The little money we are earning from crude oil we are busy wasting it in Boko Haram insurgency.

Our generals in the army, navy, air force, police etc are getting pot bellied everyday from corrupt proceeds from the boko haram war.

Our military contractors that supply military ammunition and foods for soldiers are getting fatter and richer everyday.

Bags of rice meant for IDP camp to feed Internally Displaced Persons are diverted to private homes.

I PERSONALLY SAW BAGS OF RICE THAT WAS MEANT FOR INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS IN WARRI, DELTA STATES.

The bag of rice was smuggled to Warri by some northerner to give to their relative in Warri.

For bags of rice that was meant to feed internally displaced persons to get to Warri without adequate security checks. One could imagine the huge numbers of bags of rice that must have gotten to other non crisis state in Nigeria.

Nigeria is such a lawless and corrupt Country.

There was also the case of a warehouse operated by NEMA in which bags of rice that were donated by the Chinese government to feed IDP camp people were secretly abandoned to get rot under President Muhammadu Buhari watch because some corrupt officials want to sell it secretly and pocket the money or share the bags of rice among those who are aware of the storage. But they have been stealthily watching out for WHISTLE BLOWER to get cleared to give them a safe passage to perpetuate or perpetrate their abominable acts.

Why didn't they take those bag of rice to the orphanage homes instead of allowing it to get rot under lock and key.

Next time do they think an international donor like the Chinese government will want to consider Nigeria for such a gift items given the lack of honesty and goodwill that we have exhibited to the Chinese.

The federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari must apologize to the Chinese government and the international community for the reckless abandon with which we got the aids to be unutilized.

Nigerians should continue to pray for the soldiers that are in the frontline ensuring that this guerrilla war is brought to an abrupt end. Let us pray that Almighty God bring them back safely to meet with their families and loved ones.

This we pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Seasons greetings in advance.

The northerners know why boko haram is undefeatable. When these terrorism was born they were only focused on Christians and churches then Muslims were quietly supporting them and secretly giving away their kids to be recruited for the almighty jihad. then politicians were happy as well as supporting them just to denigrate the leadership of GEJ
