The older you get the more time you require to recover and if you are a Coach,which fortunately you are NOT..you learn to manage your best players to get the best out of them..
At least the Coach knows in time and plan his team with what he has unlike Okocha that kept posting his Coach until it cost us the 2006 WC qualification..
And yes an ELDERLY Mikel is STILL BETTER than whatever PRETENDERS we have in the National Team TODAY..

Haha you are not giving up are you? You are neither the coach bro. Its football talk, no carry am too much for head. Mikel presently doesn't deserve to play in the Nations Cup (FACT) and according to you it is because he is injured. Fine. Still my opinion remains he missed the qualifiers due to his injury and weary body and therefore should sit out the Nations cup while he recovers. The team that played to qualify should be given a chance. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. simple. My last response by the way.
