Oga forget your story . Indirectly what you are saying is a country needs to be. Monarchy to make such SOUTH AFRICA ETHIOPIA and Kenyan are all working on speed train, Morocco's own is just the first to come on board and you are here telling stories of a victim

You people are just behaving like illiterates.

I am saying that an absolute monarchy will have speedy decision making.

Even if Buhari decides to buy these fast trains, what if the legislative arm frustrate the effort through unnecessary interrogations?

We saw what happened with the fighter helicopters? Buhari risked impeachment to purchase them without waiting for the agreement of the legislative arm.

The South Africa you are mentioning still suffer from unstable power supply and high crime rates. So what is special about them?

But he can detain El Zakzaky even when the court has ordered for his release abi?

Oya take again.

We are talking about projects, you are talking about court cases.

If court cases were like projects, then Buhari would have forced the legislative arm to pass the anti-graft bill he had proposed to them since 2016.

If he can find a way to bypass the judiciary why is it so hard for him to do same with the legislature.
Go sleep!

Your problem is your don't know the difference between good governance and system of government be it democracy or Monarchy.

You are telling me it's easier to have billions of dollars unaccounted for by NNPC under Buhari, than utilizing such to build legacy projects...I can see your level of Literacy undecided

The same Buhari that has been ignoring Court order and with no regard for rule law , now wants to go by the rules in other to deliver developmental infrastructure? How literate can one be?

You sound a bit desperate to make your case. What he is saying is that countries like Rwanda, South Africa, Kenya, Gabon etc practice the same system of governance as us , but have managed to make such projects a success in a short time . South Africa commissioned it's Gautrain project in under 4 years even with their internal fight about it.

America still has power outages even with its development , does that really affect much ?. South Africa fixed their major power supply problems in 2016 , and there is no African country that is better than them currently with power supply . Do we even have statistics offices like in south Africa to even know half of the crimes taking place in Nigeria undecided. We don't even have the capacity to determine how many are born or dead each day not to talk of rapes and house robberies . Abeg face reality my brother, naija don cast .

These countries don't have the same system of government as Nigeria.

South Africa and Gabon practise parliamentary system of government.

Kenya's system of government is fiscal federalism just like the United States.

By your own judgment, system of government does not count?

If system of government don't matter, why are experts clamoring for fiscal federalism and/or regionalism as a solution to Nigeria's problems.

So you want to tell me that for years when we have suffered the same plight, it has been due purely to bad governance?

Bring all past and present American president to govern a country like Nigeria, and they will fail. It is not a curse. It is the system of government. It is the structure.

Because he will be impeached.

If he had his way, he would definitely do it because the legislative arm is the major problem of our country.

You are beating about the Bush.
According to you Buhari can not effect some changes whil Morocco can , is because we operate Democracy ?
And I ask you , is it same Buhari who has no regard for rule of law, under whose watch likes of NNPC have been spending unapproved money?

I never said democracy. I said presidential system of government.

It took 10 years for an absolute monarchy to develop a fast train project. With a presidential system of government, decision may not be so swiftly executed. Especially in Nigeria.

The NNPC or a disregard for court orders is not the same as passing and accepting bills relationship that exists between the legislative arm and the executive arm.

People disregard court orders using different means. It is not a new thing in Nigeria, especially if you are powerful. A powerful pastor did against Kemi Olunloyo by hastening a bench warrant.
