You don't have to give yourself unnecessary pressure about certifying your documents.
All my friends I have over there didn't certified theirs and they were granted visa. I didn't certified mine too, i just uploaded the scanned copy of the originals.
The Case officers knows how to do their verification and if need be i believe we would be contacted for further clarification, so relax and hope for the best.
vikmeek:

OK..

But pls, since I have already submitted by application and paid, what can I do in this case..

Getting a lawyer to certify my documents won't be a problem cos my elder bro is one.

What do u advise I do, don't wanna leave any loop hole

I hope I’m asking this the right way and right forum.
Gurus in the house, please I need your advice and my question goes thus -
I applied to an Australia school for an msc program early November through an agent!
While going through the comments on this page I realised Australia schools always ask if applicants have been refused Visa previously by any country ( I was refused the student F1 Visa in the US embassy this same year).
The question is, does previous Visa denial disqualify an intending Australia student’s school admission / visa ?

Please I need a quick response as the agent has already filled in NO which I’m not comfortable with because it’s better to lose just the application fee/admission than been refused visa n losing a lot of money.

Thanks for the anticipated response. smiley

God bless you all for the good deeds here.
I studied Maritime Management Technology ( Futo). I intend applying for Masters degree program in Australia. Need help for a maritime related course with average tuition feel and also a program that can help me get PR easily.
Thanks in anticipation.

It doesn't affect the outcome of neither the admission or grant, one of the powerful weapon to be granted visa is to be truthful.

If the school asked and u said no while it is actually a yes. You stil don't have to worry but if at the visa application, u said no while it is a yes. They wil surely find out and i fear it may be a problem. You just hav to open up especially at embassy level.

Thanks for the response, I am yet to get admission decision though but I intend filling yes for the visa application. I hope a YES in the Visa application won’t reduce my chances on getting the VISA.

I WISH I CAN HEAR FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN REFUSED a US F1 VISA AND LATER GOT THE AUSTRALIA STUDENT VISA TO SHARE HOW HE WENT THROUGH IT.

I think you can only do Medicals upfront... cos there is a document you'll have to take along with u for the biometrics that you cannot get without starting the VISA application process or so... cant rem... maybe someone with a better knowledge can help out...

Cheers...

Thanks. I may have to submit the online application first before booking biometrics. Waiting on my sponsor's supporting documents so i can finish the application. Thanks again

There is nothing to worry about since you have applied to the school already.... however do NOT make same mistake when applying for your visa... tell them u have been denied and add the necessary supporting document... in ur case the white paper.... in your SOP you can further explain why you were denied 'IF' you are sure of the reason... In all, be completely honest with the VISA process... Best of luck..

If I was in your situation, I will either certify those documents rename (Certified Documents) and reattach them or I will just let it be and hope for the best.

Attach all your documents into one single PFD file and upload as other-documents on your immiaccount.

To certify the documents, it will be a photocopy of my certificate that I Will certify right?

And can any lawyer sign and stamp for using his seal..or must I take the documents to a high court?

Thanks as I await ur reply

Is it ok to give information about previous visa refusal of my sibling/parent, or about visas that they currently hold? Or is it too much information?

If they are joining you to Australia, the u need to mention all previous and present visa info about them..

if they are not accompanying u, just mention their names in the appropriate section and upload their birth certificates

You present the original documents for your lawyer or JP to site and confirm it is original, then they will photocopy and stamp it.

In Australia they have a list of occupations that can do it for you including teachers, engineers Doctors etc but I believe since you are overseas you may have to use a Lawyer or High Court.

I believe they have recently increased the quota for uploading documents. You may want to double check on that by logging into your immiaccount. Click on your application to see how many documents you have submitted

Visa grant with husband as dependent didn’t use an agent after lots of discouragement. We took the bold step of faith. Didn’t apply with d agent who help get d admission applied on our own I made my sop detail expressing myself as much as I could . Financial statement was above 15million.with two children and tie to home country and also returning to family business as a returns for the amount a.m. sending. Came as a shock am so happy . Plus don’t lie in anyways and didn’t contact the embassy before the grant to avoid looking desperate
